No im not referring to Underbelly lol, but rather some good players we should go after in 2009 who are off-contract.

· Sam Thaiday (Broncos) Enough said. Pure brute strength
· Dave Taylor (Broncos) A huge prop on the rise
· Reni Matuia (Bulldogs) Can cover centre, lock, five eigth
· Will Chambers (Storm outside back) (Untapped potential, future superstar)
· Penny Tagive (Huge West Tigers Winger)
· Mitchell Aubusson (Roosters) --Can play second row/centre
· David Stagg (Broncos) --Tackling Machine

How old is wesser? how old is best? you signed vagana at what age? what age is craig wing? think about it....

sure you guys got young talent, but when was the last time you signed a youngster thats had a future?

Facts fellas, not gaga land, when you talk and post your opinions, at least do your research first....

Yes you a right there most of our recent signing have been on the retirement list,But there is a sprinkling of younger blokes.
Most of the older blokes have had a good influence on the younger players.

i agree there sugar, but its like the bulldogs signing kimorley, i think thats a waste, sign a youngster that will have more than just 2 or 3 years....

and dont pay overs for the older players...

but... thats just my opinion

kane cleal, to my knowledge he is in his early 20's correct??? if so, thats a good buy, but to sign wesser and brag, i dissagree with that, in the next 2 years you get a good junior, then lose him cause wesser is in front of him for 2 more years... then when wesser retires, what then? you lost a good young fullback.

Did the same with the peach... although the hard decision was made smartley by taylor to drop him for a younger player...

Thats my point, but wesser is on more than what the peach was on, harder to drop....

Hmm Tautai has suspect hands, the only ones from that list I would like would be; Sam Thaiday, Ben Creagh and Lahrs. However, Creagh is a pipe dream as he loves Saints. I wouldn't want Kearney back as I believe a local junior will take over fullback after Wesser's contract. Lahrs is a big unit capable of a bench spot with us in the future, we could get him for less than $200k IMHO.

Scotty Logan for $100

Lars for $150

Thaiday would warrant $200

Hmm Scotty is a risky proposition at his age, I'd rather spend it on some promising juniors.

If he loves $$ he might consider the switch, it all really depends on our recruitment manager mark hughes.
