JJ must be having a heart attack right about now.

NZ have gift wrapped three-wickets for Australia.

Merry Christmas.

What an inept batting side.

inept is being kind... seriously, how bad have the three dismissals been?

Hauritz is an embarrassment, topped only by the NZ top order

Perhaps it's a symptom of NZ not playing much test cricket these days?

These fellas don't seem to value their wicket. They seem to think that you need to take uneccessary risks in order to score as opposed to milking that donkey Hauritz for singles and taking advantages of the really bad balls when they come along by whacking them either a) along the ground or b) to open spaces.

McCullum is NZs most experienced player in the batting order and he sets the tone for this pathetic maverick attitude towards batting.

To be honest I am tired of making and hearing excuses for them - they've had plenty of test cricket this year, and apart from Taylor's century against England the bats have shown nothing, no discipline, no intelligence, and Flynn apart no guts

And if Sth Africa don't score heavily against this attack, they should be ashamed too

You going to give Haurie some credit?

not against New Zealand, no.

Any joe schmoe can pick up a Test wicket, the schizophrenic selectors' problem is that they aren't giving the post-Warne spinners the chance to prove themselves in at least more than 3 Tests. Well they gave White a chance but he can't spin the ball, so he doesn't count as a spinner. Medium-pacer more like.

Sounds like a belter of a wicket, and sounds like the Kiwi Batsman have given out 4 early Christmas presents.

I'd like to see how this bowling attack would go against a decent batting team like Bangladesh or Kenya
