Japan will be in Australia for the Cabramatta International 9's next month. 7 -8th i believe.

Saturday night Rugby League series will continue in 2009.

Under 11 2008 Sopporo Champions were shirakabadai Primary.

Dear Arucard,

Is there any domestic competition in Japan at the moment? And if not, what are the immediate plans for Japan staring up a local comp?

Or are there just occasional friendly games?

Are the players for the Japanese 7's side to tour Australia all based in Japan, or are some players Japanese students based in Australia?

Who do the Japanese-based players play for when they go back to Japan? Do they go back playing Union?

Good stuff mate. I'm guessing Japan is one of the harder parts of the world to get a regular comp of League up and running, being so far from every other league nation, so it's good to hear you guys are still at it.
And it'll be good to hear what happens in the 9s tournament so keep us up to date with how you guys go.

i think japanese rugby league could work well, i believe from what ive heard rugby league thinks it can get a foothole in due to the fact the japanese would be more suited to league than union and play buisness v buisness as club rugby is at the moment
