Yep. Watch the Cowboys play this year.
Nah sorry.Did you happen to find where Hagen was quoted as saying Hegarty was a special for the SOO 5/8 spot in 2004?
Nah sorry.
What does vai vai mean ?
Just go to some local shop and buy some season review DVDs between 1999-2008 and you'll see Hegs at his brilliant best.So is there ANY actual proof that Hegarty can still play the game other than "Watch the Cowboys play this year"?
I look forward to seeing Malcom Webster in space but I don't see any benefits for the club in letting Hegs go.Vaivai is one of the younger players who will hopefully benifit from Hegs departure.Try to look at it like this, Hegs is doing exactly what Wesser done at penrith
He realised there was some good young talent coming through and decided it was time to move on to help the developement of those players.
Trust me mate, if you and Dave are Hegs fans just wait until you see Malcolm Webster in open space.
That's absolute BS... were you in on the secret meeting that Hegs had with himself when this was decided?Hegs should have played five-eigth in 2006 when Sutton was struggling there. And guys, Hegs was gonna start at five-eigth in SoO 1 2004 when Lockyer was injured until Hegs was struck down with injury himself.
Yes I was Nemesis. I decided to share it to all of you guys as I felt that my fellow rabbit fans had a right to know. That's absolute BS... were you in on the secret meeting that Hegs had with himself when this was decided?
Hegs has never played a single first grade game as five eighth in his entire career and yet you believe that he was going to replace Lockyear in a SOO game? What drugs are you on AM?
Ok, so tell me.. who else was in this meeting that you say you attended and what was the rationale behind deciding on Hegs to step in as five eighth?Yes I was Nemesis. I decided to share it to all of you guys as I felt that my fellow rabbit fans had a right to know.
Lockyer was injured for Origin 1 2004 and they were gonna play Hegs at 6. Hegs had to withdraw through injury so instead they went with Chris Flannery.
I am not on drugs.
Michael Hagan, Dave Q, Darren Lockyer, Wally Lewis and Graham Lowe.Ok, so tell me.. who else was in this meeting that you say you attended and what was the rationale behind deciding on Hegs to step in as five eighth?
I suppose that Dave is willing to corroborate your story then?Michael Hagan, Dave Q, Darren Lockyer, Wally Lewis and Graham Lowe.
So you're saying that had Hegs not been injured, he would've been selected at five eighth (having never played in that position before), ahead of a proven utility such as Chris Flannery, who had played five eighth many times in his first grade career? That doesn't make much sense, if thats the case.Well we thought that he could provide good assistance to Scott Prince with his passing game and his ability to take the line on so we thought why not.
Yes and yes.So you're saying that had Hegs not been injured, he would've been selected at five eighth (having never played in that position before), ahead of a proven utility such as Chris Flannery, who had played five eighth many times in his first grade career? ....Once again, is Dave willing to corroborate your story that you were both present at this meeting to discuss Hegs playing 5/8 in SSO 1, 2004?
Sounds interesting... I can't wait to hear Dave's comments on this.Yes and yes.
You were in the room Dave. We were talking about it and we were also thinking about putting Nathan Fien at dummy-half. We went with Cammy Smith in the end.
You were wearing that South Sydney jersey from 2002.If you could remind me what I was wearing at the time, that might help me to recollect!
Jeez Dave, you're amongst friends here... surely you'd recall if you attended a meeting with Michael Hagan, African Monkey, Darren Lockyer, Wally Lewis and Graham Lowe to discuss something as important as Hegs stepping in for DL in SOO1, 2004?If you could remind me what I was wearing at the time, that might help me to recollect!
Remember Dave's Zoo photos >>>thats the meeting;-)Jeez Dave, you're amongst friends here... surely you'd recall if you attended a meeting with Michael Hagan, African Monkey, Darren Lockyer, Wally Lewis and Graham Lowe to discuss something as important as Hegs stepping in for DL in SOO1, 2004?
