Tuesdays are bad for my health. Look at team selected, followed by rapid rise in my blood pressure.

When Junior wasn't named in the last trial, people said Elliot was obviously happy with him and didn't

need a second look. Nope. When Lewis impressed at lock, we thought we were finally going to get

what we want. Nope. When he said Graham and Sammut would be given some time to form a combination,

should we have believed him?

Tighe was hopeless in the trials, but he holds his spot. Every Tuesday has been the same since Elliot has been

here. I've never once thought he has picked the strongest possible side, and our results prove it.

Graham can't be injured, he's named in 20s as well. I imagine he'll come into firstgrade and 18th man Seijka will take his spot in the 20s.
Jennings and Gordon combo sounds mouth watering but I fear we'll become predictable. Tighe and Elford will just hold down the fort while we pepper the left constantly with Peanuts, Jenko and Flash..
I hope come gameday we see Graham shift lewis over to lock and smith can go jump and I'll be quite satisfied.

I'm so f*cking over this bullsh*t. Matt Elliott is just a complete wanker. He picks the team based on who he likes best. Soooooo mad.

-Brad Tighe was hopless in the trials. His defence and handling cost us the Eels and Cowboys games. Yet he gets a centre spot ahead of our most consistant and reliable player in the backs (Michael Gordon)... and 2 strong defence players in Luke Lewis and Gavin Cooper.

-Luke Lewis plays a brilliant game at lock. So he is picked at 5/8.... forcing out the best half that our club has to offer.

-Wade Graham and Jarrod Sammut spent all pre-season building a combination in the halves.... only for Wade Graham to get dropped to an extended bench and most likely be playing for the Under 20's side this week.

-Junior Tia Kilifi has a brilliant trials game against the Eels... and doesn't even get another crack at a spot.

The only real WEAKNESS in our team is Brad Tighe. The side other then him is still pretty strong. But it is far from the strongest team we could name.

lame matt elliott, lame

I can only hope come kick off the side will have graham in it and not just the 19th man. Even if that is the case I do have to ask why the f**k the smoke and mirrors.

We need graham his passing game is what we were desperately lacking at times last year.

Exactly. We have been asking the same thing for 2 years now, for absolutely no gain whatsoever, and yet he continues to do it...

Either:
a). Matt Elliott is a wanker for dropping Graham, Lewis at 5/8, etc.
b). Matt Elliott is a wanker for the smoke and mirrors.

Either way, I can't wait till we get rid of this useless excuse for a coach.

All he has to do is drop Brad Tighe and add Wade Graham.

Then he can shift either Nathan Smith or Gavin Cooper to centre... and Luke Lewis to backrow/lock. Or he could even just shift Luke Lewis to centre. I don't care. Just put Graham in the halves and drop Brad Tighe regardless of which of those blokes replaces him. All 3 blokes will improve our defence.

Whilst i agree that JTK should be in the side. I wouldn't say he was 'brilliant' against the Eels, he only played the First Half, made no mistakes and had a solid game.

I've got nothing...

Oh yeah I do. I hate the off season. It feels me with hope.

I hope we win.

IMO that is a brilliant game when you compare him to Brad Tighe... the bloke who should be dropped to fit him in the side.

Michael Gordon should have the #4 on his back, and Junior Tia Kilifi should be on the wing. Brad Tighe should be fighting to earn a spot at Windsor.

john lang was a great coach but even he publictly admitted he had run out of ideas. We need a new young coach one that is willing to take chances with side selection and game plans

Whilst I love Johnny Lang, no is my answer to that. His gameplan was becoming stale and there needed to be change.

Would love Steve Kearney.
As would I.

With the amount of Kiwi players the club has, he would go a long way to helping us keep them. Not to mention he has worked with Wayne Bennett and Craig Bellamy and enjoyed success with both.
