It was still the wrong decision, Ponting is just lucky the Paki's have choked and Hauritz, Dougie and Mitch have bowled well.

It was the wrong decision but it wasn't as bad as some made out. The fact that the Aussie batted like turd was a far bigger problem.

What Ponting's decision did show was the lack of imagination in world cricket today. Win toss = bat.

I sort of wouldnt mind us losing a few games, at the moment we are struggling to beat mediocre opposition, which means selectors get to remain unnacountable. If we lost a few some tough decisions might actually be made, which would benifit Australian cricket in the long run.
