They fail financially and get a free pass, have no junior league and, lets be honest here, have been given a leg up some of the other expansion teams of the past would be quietly pissed off about.
Smith, Slater and Inglis would be absolute shadows of the players they are now had they been part of the Victoria's junior rugby league ranks.

My Club does

My club takes care of itself, we breed our own success and the club and the fans earn every bit of that success.

I dont agree with the fact that the Storm are kept alive by the financial owners of the game.

And the fact that they are based In a part of Australia where it is vital for News LTD that the game is successful and grows.

How do they get away with this???


How people can just take this on the chin and accept it is beyond me.....

Anyone who has a desire for the IC to remove funding from the Storm is destined for some major dissapointment ;-)

They killed that game this morning with their constant holding down.

Disagree, they played as allowed by the ref. The official was at fault for calling "move" far to slow. Can hardly blame the Storm for taking advantage of poor reffing.

I love watching the Storm. Got my tickets for the Sharks match yesterday only because they are playing. Taking a couple of friends from Adelaide to the game to convert them to league.
I can't wait to see the Premiers in full flight, just hope that the sharks can make a game of it.

They are good for the game going forward, so I will support them as I do every team

Off topic: quite a few tickets sold already when I went to Sharks at about 1pm yesterday. Hoping for a good atmosphere for my friends at a local NRL ground. Which they don't get at home in Adelaide following the AFL .

No one can blame News Ltd for Melbourne winning last years premiership.

they are a fake team, get some victorians playing for them and they become a little more tolerable.

i'm sick of them, i find them boring in general but i must admit i love it when they play my saints. always great games. and after kogarah last year, i think easter friday is going to be huge
