Why then are most of you in denial ? Ricky Stuart is a sh*t coach. The sooner you get rid of him the better. You should have enticed Lang back.

I remember in a previous life when we were pushing the big rock that was blocking the cave entrance, I said to the bloke beside me, "I reckon Jesus isn't in here"

The others said 'He's gotta be, he's dead, he ain't goin' nowhere'

Wish I had my mobile with me then, I would of taken a pic.

Cheers

so just to compact it all, please put your prophecies in one post here for us to consider.

Assuming you start poorly and only win a handful of games I predict that pressure will mount on your coach and in the end it will be too much and he will resign. Subsequently the assistant will take over as your finances will not allow the payment of a high profile coach.

You will survive until the new TV deal however the Central Coast will pose a viable alternative if the Sharks continue in this way. There will then be a few alternatives; relocation (which you should take in a heartbeat), merger which I cannot see happening or sadly total extinction.

The way the world is now and the way that demographics and attitudes have changed towards league in the Sutherland Shire there is simply no way you will survive unless you jag a comp or come close to it. The proposed redevelopment will come too late. The plans have already been delayed until August due to the difficulties of finding a backer. I have lived here for over 20 years and I have seen the change in the area. People are just not into the Sharks as they were at their peak in the mid to late 90's. You cannot deny that.

So an opinion different to yours is denial? You've done your best to make whatever half-baked point it was you wished to make. Consider us all dazzled by your brilliance and kindly f**k off.

Again with the the profanities. It is always the bigot minority who give the good people of the Sutherland Shire such a bad name.

I second the motion.
Now bugger off back to the banks of the Parramatta river and take your negative rumblings with you.

Mate all this was done to death last year. Its not your thoughts, it is what you have read and are just regurgitating You probably think you are highly intelligent but you are not coming over that way There is not one original point in any of your posts Do you not think that securing a major sponsor and increased member numbers are a sign of progress. I suggest you throw out last years papers and move into 2010

You just showed how much you don't know about what is going on in Rugby League. You also showed that despite allegedly living in the shire for 20 years just how much of an outcast you are.
The long term plan for the NRL includes the Sharks, CC & Western Brisbane. It is vital to the new TV deal. If there was a threat to the Sharks in anyway at all, it will come from NZ or Perth. Neither of which will happen. The NRL will CONTINUE to prop up the Storm as they will the Sharks if required. It is better to prop uop the Sharks to the tune of 1-2 million per year, rather than suffer a loss of around 20 million per year due no other clubs being able to fill the void, in particular Perth who are slated for a 2018 competition entry. As for the Redevelopment delay, it is a good thing. The delay is not because of problems but because the original design did not optimise income earning potential. The delay is because the entire project is being re-thought & submitted. The potential gain is in the tens of millions. This is a good thing, not a bad thing, as you incorrectly insinuated.
Lastly, your "alleged" scoop on Raper. WOW!!! Ricky to replace Raper!! Who would have thought that was going to happen??
You are a phukking moron.
