We're terrible. I'd rather watch sides who can't hold the ball and make error after error. That's quality... I also much preferred to watch us in 05 and 06 when our defence was rubbish but we passed the ball compared to now where we have such a solid structure and solid defence... not to mention 347 points.

Their fans miust be in raptures about the style. Let's look at the facts.

Ok, lets look at the facts:

We have the third best attack.

^^All the horrible errors made it exciting to see who would be the worst team in the competition. It was so bad it was good.

Dragons are clinical. There team works like a machine, the problem is machines are repetitive and you get bored of it quickly enough. Whether the dragons can play finals football is yet to be answered, they bombed spectacularly last year in the finals probably because when the come against a fluid, determined team they're own playing style cant really compete. They have some great individual attacking potential and I'd like to see bennett try and encourage them to try and use it instead of just players like morris as specific tools in specific plays.

Yes i know i will probably be flamed for this post, but this is my opinion so whatever.

Yawn. I'm sure if we discuss this topic for long enough, someone will produce an original thought that hasn't been repeated ad nauseum since the season started...

f**k you Dragons fans are idiots. Dead set numb skulls

Suck a dick f**kwit. Keep holding onto the premierships you've won cause it's going to be a very f**ken long time before you win another. Moffo it was a good try. Any thread started about how boring a team is, especially when you support the Bulldogs is f**ken laughable at best. And to those scum Storm supporters, we're playing your game at a legal level. Someday you might understand this. I won't hold my breath.

Woops forget Tigers fans. Your team is sh*t. If you make the finals I'd be very surprised. Keep throwing off loads though, they worked a threat for Parramatta last year.

At least we've won a premiership. We're a proud club with a proud history. You are just failing, choking, merged scum

Five NRL clubs fined for cap breaches

Updated June 23, 2010 18:26:00
The National Rugby League has fined five clubs, including grand finalist Parramatta, for breaches of the salary cap after completing its 2009 audit.
The clubs were advised of the breaches last week and the league's board was informed at its meeting today.
Parramatta will cop the largest of the fines at $25,000, while the Dragons ($22,500), Brisbane ($17,045), Canberra ($1,996) and the Roosters ($7,246) were also found to be in breach of the cap.

Seriously, comparing those to Melbourne is just pathetic. $22500 is not even minimum wage for one player.

Sorry, did St George Illawarra make a mockery of your team this weekend?

Now would be a good time to bring up what happened five years ago... it's about all you've got. Ironic that Bradbury is a part of Wests territory and you won the Bradbury Premiership.

* Darius' try was a very good sweeping backline play and then stamped with Boyd's individual brilliance.
* Morris try was a blindside play that was very flash.
* Creagh's try was from a kick; and
* Soward's try was pure individual brilliance.

How was any of that boring. You read the Telecrap a lot don't you? Do you think for yourself or do you need an "expert" to tell you which teams are exciting and which teams are boring. Saints are third in points "FOR" and First in points "AGAINST. They score less tries from kicks than 13 other teams, so most of their tries come from sending the ball through hands. This thread is a FAIL...........don't let Rothfield manipulate your thinking...the guy is a rabid sharks supporter who had them in the top 4 this season and he hates the Dragons with a passion. It is that stupid a thread that I'm not even going to vote.

Give me a boringly won premiership over a flashy 2nd place any day. Massive fail for anyone trying to argue otherwise.

I find most games of league that I have no emotional interest in are boring. Why? Because I could not care less about the result and even less about the so called "brand" of football they play.

The Tigers won the 2005 season based upon surrender in the tackle and quick play the balls. That got them to the attacking end of the field where they excelled, to me those first 4 or 5 tackles were boring to watch, but hey they won a premiership from it an no one begrudges them.

The people saying that the dragons need to change their style because it is boring really need to be thinking about what the oposition (or insert your team here) needs to do to score more points then the Dragons. It takes 2 teams to make an exciing game and if the opposition (again insert your team here) does not have the game plan to crack the defence, do not blame the Dragons.

How about the oppostion tries something different (again insert your team here) to get a different outcome instead of the boring drivel in attack you have coughed up against the best defence densive unit in the comp?

It is much easier to blame the Dragons for your sides inept attacking abilites then to look at the real picture, your team just was not good enough on the day! Defence wins games, I in fact like to watch a physical defensive side giving it to the so called attacking powerhouses of the competition by outscoring them on most occasions 2-1.

How can a team who have scored the third most points for in the competition be "boring"?
