Yep thats what I'm looking for too, not getting too excited yet.

30 points (or 29 in Parra's case last year) was the cutoff for the 8 in recent years. 2007 was wierd because almost every team got above 20 points, and the top 2 teams were way ahead of the rest, in the high 30's and low 40's, so Brisbane made the 8 with two more losses than wins, on 24 points. 30 points (or more) got you 3rd place in 2007!

But 2007 aside, I feel 28 (or 29) is a very realistic backup target this season - when mentioning again the fact that the Storm have sucked a lot of points into a black hole. This years points distribution seems similar to 09 and 08 as well.

we shot ourselves in the foot far too regularly at the start of the year unfortunately.

I try and forget about the Storm, Panthers and Titans games... all games we should have won and as frustrating as each other.

i can accept an away loss at canberra (although it will really put our backs to the wall), but if we lose to the cowboys we should just start planning for next year. the cowboys are a dead set joke at the moment.
