Without getting to far ahead of myself, let's say that in the 1/6 chance we currently have of winning the 2010 Premiership - where do we go to celebrate?

Being 25yo I've never experienced a Dragons premiership, so I plan to be drunk for at least a week after we finally do get one.

So if we win the 2010 Premiership, where will the team take the trophy immediately after, Kogarah or Wollongong?

Where does the Dragon Army intend to be?

Dude you can't just preface it with this and hope to get away with it! It's like saying I don't want to be racist but Asian people are the worst drivers. or I'm not bragging but I have an extremely extra large penis

I was thinking the same thing on the weekend. I'm going to the GF regardless of who plays and need to book accommodation soon. Kogarah seems obvious so I'm going for somewhere around there.

The last time a team I supported won a grand final was Brisbane Brothers in 1987. Had a chat back at the clubhouse to a nice young man who I understand went on to make a bit of a name for himself. I think he said his name was Mark Coyne ...

actually - we are a 1 in 4 chance using your logic ... but even worse is that we are a 50% chance of not making the GF ...

hmmmm ... lets wait unit 2 minutes after the final whistle is blown .. we all know what happened at Win stadium a few years back ... Half time siren went, we made the tackle then started to walk off ... Raiders scored.

will we have to wait until the last minute for celebration timing from the club? more than likely so. it would be nice to have some sort of plan for people that live far away .IF we make it to the G.F i hope there will be some announcement as to the teams plans, win, lose or [oops, there are no draws]/ i am in the position of having a long drive straight after the game to get to the 'gong where i PRESUME the players will attend after spending time at the spiritual home of Kogarah. MAY EVERYTHING GO TO PLAN

hahaha I think my language following that was still pretty careful.

But unlike a lot of you guys, I live in Canberra so I have to make all my STGI related arrangements in advance so I can't really afford to sit back and wait and see what happens.

Apparently last time we won, the leagues club put on free beers after the game.

I reckon that would be the place to be after a GF win.

Don't worry The Nick I know you feel I am still waiting for my invite from the Australian Sex Party as well.

There will be a huge function organised over at the field with a stage, marquee, etc for the thousands that would come.

That's where it would be. The leagues couldn't handle it. It was mentioned in 05 that they'd use Kogarah Oval.

I got into the party in 99 at the Leagues and it's still one of the best nights ever even though we lost. Packed house but it's a pandemonium that you will never forget.

Probably getting a bit ahead of yourself here OP, but I suppose if you live a significant distance away then you need to look ahead.......... to a degree.

Remember, to win the GF Saints must first get to it, then they need to be leading by 8 or more with less than 30 seconds on the clock for all supporters to truly let out a sigh of relief.

Whats the bet that, if that were to happen (party at Kogarah), the fun police would make it alcohol free.

Not that it would stop anyone but it'd take the fun out of the night for you guys
