the cheat better start videotaping again otherwise he and prettyboy won't win anything again, ever.

another tasty morsel for ya kurt:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2010/news/story?id=6027832

Video surfaced Sunday showing several Patriots players standing flush against the inside border of the sideline during a punt return in a Week 2 loss to the Jets, with the last player in the line attempting to trip New York's special-teams "gunner."
Fox Sports broadcasted the footage during its coverage of Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game, reporting the Jets were aware of the Patriots' actions when under scrutiny by the NFL for similar activity that resulted in a $100,000 fine.

The Jets became privy to the Patriots' use of the sideline wall when they signed a player off the Patriots' practice squad in November, Fox Sports reported. Linebacker Shawn Crable was added a few days after he was cut by the Patriots.
The Jets are appealing the fine handed down by the NFL last month, levied for a violation of league rules when Sal Alosi, a strength and conditioning coach, tripped Miami's Nolan Carroll on the sideline during a punt return in the Jets-Dolphins game on Dec. 12.
The league said Alosi instructed inactive players to stand in a wall in a prohibited area on the sideline to deter opposing teams' players during special-teams plays, which is a violation of NFL policy.
The video of the Patriots showed the players in a similar sideline position.
Alosi was suspended until the end of the season by the Jets.
After the Alosi incident, Jets special-teams coordinator Mike Westhoff told the media he had seen similar tactics used by other teams, specifically naming the Patriots. Westhoff said he noticed it when he watched film of past games to see if Alosi had the Jets stand in the wall formation during earlier games.

"Were [the Patriots] teaching it?" Westhoff said at the time. "I have no idea. When they punted were they back? Yes. When the other team punted were they up tighter? Yes. Absolutely. You can look at it -- look at the tape. I'm not accusing the Patriots of doing something wrong, maybe they are doing something smart. That's up to you.
"Just watch the tape. You tell me. I know one thing, I don't teach it, I don't coach it and I'm not aware that it happened."
Both Jets coach Rex Ryan and Westhoff have said they were unaware of the tactic.
A few days after the incident, the NFL sent a letter to all 32 teams reminding them of the rules and restrictions for the bench area and sidelines.
Jets owner Woody Johnson has since apologized to Patriots owner Robert Kraft, as well as Dolphins owner Stephen Ross.
Information from ESPNNewYork.com contributor Ian Begley was used in this report.

I'll admit seeing the Patriots out of the playoffs is pretty cool. They are just as classless as the Jets.
Ben Roethsliberger not much better. Hope the Packers win it all this year.

It's a shame because they should be a team that everyone likes....were constant cellar dwellers before their first SB, and Brady....well everyone knows his story.
But their head coach just oozes arrogance...even after he's been beat well and truly!

ok kurt you genius then why did they go 1 min from being the first undefeated team in history since the league was expanded after the scandal came out. Just cause your sh*t hole rams couldn't step in a SB doesn't mean you need to blame something that happened 6 years after the SB for it

Now the pats are in a rebuiling year and got to a Reg season record of 14 - 2 while you struggled to a 7 - 9 but lets go deeper

rams record since the pats "spygate"

2007 (3 - 13)
2008 (2 - 14)
2009 (1 - 15)
2010 (7 - 9)
Playoffs N/A

13 Wins for 51 losses.... Awesome team that

Meanwhile the patriots

2007 - (16 - 0)
2008 - (11- 5)
2009 - (10- 6)
2010 - (14 - 2)
Playoffs 07, 09, 10
51 Wins - 13 Losses

The Jets made Brady look very ordinary today. He has not played well in the playoffs for a while now.

It is a team game though. Looking forward to Jets Vs Steelers.

what do the rams have to do with the patriots being unable to win the superbowl without cheating? the last time the rams had any real shot was in 2003 but bulger was their qb so they bombed out in the first game. they have been awful ever since that year.

the patriots have turned into the regular season kings. but when other teams up the ante in the playoffs they can't compete because now they have no idea what the other teams are doing. it's easy to win when you know what the plays the opposition is running but come to the real challenge of winning fairly the patriots are not up to the task.

Man I am with you but cheating aside ... the Jets were able to confuse Brady and dominate the Patriots smallish receiving core by knocking them off their timing patterns. Brady simply wasn't game enough to try to squeeze the ball in to tight windows like Manning has had to do for the last half decade.

Moss might have come in handy today...also maybe Brady should have waited til after the season before taking in Lombardi on Broadway haha.

cheats never prosper.

i was rooting for the pats cause the jets are more annoying to me right now, but tbh, they both annoy the f**king life out of me. As long as the steelers beat the jets, im heppy.

pats are ringless as fair competitors. I like that...

the history books show otherwise, and thats what i look at most, as opposed to a posters opinion;-)

Record books say 3

Raider 69 says 0

I'll take the record books :p

since spygate, the Pats have done more then pretty much the entire Eagles history you realise?

again, if spygate was that bad they would've been stripped of there rings, the Eagles were never going to win regardless, say what you like, but the Pats were average that game and still won imo

brady got spooked after that interception, i have no doubts that was the turning point in the game for me right there, and the game had just started.
