I don't "bludge", I go to uni (it's this place reserved for intelligent types, so I understand if you don't know about the hard work it takes to do uni) and while I'm studying my parents have agreed to give me money to pay all my bills. They only give me $1000 a week, it's not that much.

It's not like I get 52k to put into my piggy bank, the money doesnt just go in, it goes out too. Half of it is bills, a quarter is savings, I only have maybe 200 a week as spending money. I know all about the real world, budgeting for bills and things, I've been doing it for 2 years.

57k (plus benefits) is the rate now, after tax I'll have slightly less money than I have atm, still more than enough to get by. So i'll be going from 52k to somewhere in the high 40s after tax at first, i think I'll be fine, it's not as if I'm going from a Point Piper harbourside mansion to a housing comission home.

Also my girlfriend is not a golddigger.

As for my parents, my mum is a social worker, she works with domestic violence victims and my dad is a financial technical...something, not entirely sure, he keeps telling me but I don't understand. Something to do with money. All I know is combined they have enough money to give me that. I don't ask too many questions.
