I've heard the song on the radio a couple times times now, catchy song and its sounding better everytime I hear it. I'm not a rock person either

NorthShoreEel, it doesn't matter what you think of the song, it matters than Bon Jovi has mass appeal and that's what the NRL are trying to tap into.

hahahahahaha

how the fug is a bon jovi song that has never been heard before ...apart from an NRL add gonna tap into any sort of market?

We are the only ones who will give a fug.

There is a reason that they didn't put it on an album.

They are probably pissing themselves laughing.
The NRL have paid them for a song so sh*t that even they wouldn't include It on an album full of not as sh*t songs.

wrecking ball by peabody wouuld be my absolute only choice.

watch/listen to it you dare

the singer is apparently a huge footy and parra fan...and an aussie.

Could be much worse, could be better. Don't really care, should do the job.

Bon Jovi are sh*t, as is most of that type of music, but they are popular and the ad turns out to be a good one then that can only be a good thing.

To me,Bon Jovi aren't sh*t,they are just a lame band that appeal to women and girly-girls thus the marketing crew for the NRL are targeting towards that genre.

Lets face it,they already have the attention of the male population,so in appeasing the ladies fancies, they have a more chance of scooping up the undecided ones that are making up their minds wether to follow the NRL or to go and pick flowers and do antiquing.

So you laugh cos He says Bon Jovi has mass appeal then you bring up a Song and band no one has ever heard off? What was the NRL thinking they should have called you in to do their advertising...

Maybe if you bothered to read the actual thread you would see a list of very well known bands and songs I had already suggested .

FTR ...The peabody song " wrecking ball" was just a song I personally reckon would be a great rockin song that would suit NRL footage.

Sorry to rain on their (& your) parade Timmah, but, going by general comments in forums outside of this one, that are not focussed on sport - it has FAIL written all over it.

As I mentioned, I think the NRL have gone the cheap option, as the rights to this song would be cheap, as it is not a hit & therefore not expensive to run.

Maybe I should put it in bold, for emphasis?

As for Two Tribes - I had forgotten that it had been used before(I tuned out to Super League), so my bad.

Then it has so much mass appeal that these people in "general forums that are not focussed on sport" are already discussing it. Open your eyes and try and understand how advertisising and marketing works. The NRL is not aiming at advertising to people who sit on forums discussing nothings, or sit on forums even discussing league. Completely different marketing tools. Thanks for putting it in bold so it highlights your stupidity.

Because I don't agree with your opinion, makes me stupid?
