Kane Linnett to North Qld

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have signed Sydney Roosters outside back Kane Linnett to a two-year contract starting from the 2012 NRL season.
The 22-year-old, who made his NRL debut for the Roosters in round 14 of the 2010 season, has played 22 NRL matches and was part of the Sydney club’s grand final team last season.
Toyota Cowboys General Manager – Football Peter Parr announced Linnett’s signing today, saying his arrival would add significantly to North Queensland’s backline depth.
“With Willie Tonga leaving our club at the end of the year, we identified the centre/wing positions as one area we needed to look at,” Parr said.
“We are very pleased that Kane has accepted our offer and will be a Cowboy from next year.
“He is a talented player in attack and also strong defensively.”

A player leaving the Smith doldrum is a sure sign he will be one to watch

Very sad day for all Penrith fans. Please give us some space whilst we mourn in these difficult times.

Pretty sure Bellamy once tried to get him to Melbourne but he wanted to stay with the Raiders.

Is Bellyache really that good or just the supreme optimist?
