Sidds is a different bowler with McDermott as the bowling coach..

It's chalk & cheese to what he was 12 months ago..

tbf, he had good performances in him. Just that they were well spread apart with utter shit in between. McDermott does seem to have them all bowling a lot more consistently closer to the good stuff. He did suck pretty hard in SA though and wouldn't have played in Brisbane if Cummins and Harris had been fit.

He is a different bowler nowdays..He got a pass mark in Seth Efrika,he was far from "sucking"..

We needed Watson and Harris to tear through the South Africans in the first innings at Newlands. Siddle did nothing and then Siddle/Johnson failed in the second innings when we needed a good spell from either. Siddle finally picked up a wicket at the death
And Cummins made him look like an amateur at the Wanderers. Siddle and Johnson has a combined 1/170 in the second innings ... thankfully Cummins was there.

Final figures for Siddle was 4/205

If he continues this form at the WACA and Adelaide Oval then I will give him credit especially since has showed nothing at those two grounds so far in his test career (3/402 combined at those two grounds)

So far this summer he has done well (but not excelled) on good bowling wickets.
