It's a city state. Does it even have a decent footy stadium?
A non resident is taxed on all Australian source income and pay capital gains tax on Taxable Australian Property which his business interests would be I'm pretty sure.
I didn't say it wasn't terrific. It's a rich 1st world country. But the Singapores and Monacos of the world, as rich as they are, have a limited amount of space. Things like football fields don't appear on every corner. It may be a city state so to speak, but its also the epicentre of travel into and via connection into South East Asia. Its a modern metropolis with a great economy. Singapore is terrific.
Singapore is an awesome place to visit. I go for a long weekend every year. Be even better if there was a nrl game to watch as well!
Oh, you want Super League back, do you? First Singapore, then China, then the world. Or something like that.
The airport is the best feature....it's all downhill after that.Well if he wants to take an exhibition game to Singapore, I'd go. I've only ever seen the airport there...
They are my thoughts as well. They could play a trial game there to test the water and if its a success they could play a home game there.Be good to see some nrl in Singapore. I reckon they would love it and new sponsor opportunities.
