I know it was cold but 10,000 crowd would have to be a concern for front office.

On a positive note our defence was brilliant and our attack showed a faint pulse.

Titans should be proud of what they dished up with the amount of disruption pre game.

Cheers

A wins a win and our defence was good, disappointed we could not put more points on them considering how many of their regulars they were missing.

They had a lot of field position and posession thanks to the weight of penalties. We held them out.

It wasn't a great win but a much better foundation compared to the win over Parra.

Small steps. Move up.

A win is a win. But gees price has us playing dumb football.
Defence was excellent. But our ill discipline and poor decision making is a massive concern. Soward is playing good football as is vidot, Marketo, merrin and fien.

I think we are seriously short on big men. We need another prop in the 17.

Really can't understand how Dan hunt got man of the match. That's surely a gee up.

How many straight sets did we defend on our line in the first half? That won us the game IMO.

- Played with plenty of heart to hold them out so often
- They had a ticket to attack, I enjoyed watching it even though I thought we should have come up with a lot more points considering our field possession and how ordinary the opposition was. Something just isnt working, and these hit-ups and getting caught with ball on 5th tackle is frustrating.
- Reminds me so much of the phenomenon we had in the Bennett era.. grind grind grind and see who falls over the line at the 80th minute, today it was us.. but 8 pts wont win many games.
- Vidot has been so much better since being put back to his native side, Nightingale still is struggling despite being super-human... his winger was so far outside him both times?
- Hunt was rly solid as usual, he might not be a superstar but we needed that performance
- De Belin looked dangerous all night, much like Marketo I loved the young legs, and Rein was much better coming off the bench, he looked much faster against tired defenders.
- Sowie has clicked up a gear lately, he got a couple of 5th tackle options wrong, but overall he kept us in the game.
- No Cooper was a huge blow, on the positive Stanley has been acceptable (with potential) so far, he looks scarily like his brother.. just with some extra kilo's, and his line break was nice today.
- Honestly sometimes the difference between a struggling side and the Storm is we made some really strong line-breaks tonight and the Storm would have put a try under the post, but we couldnt support properly or didnt have the confidence to throw the final pass.

Just finished watching the game and the one big positive was our commitment in defence, their desperation and attitude was great considering the multiple sets the Titans had to attack us.
In attack we showed some promise at times yet failed to covert our limited chances,Merrins break and not passing to Hornby who would have scored under the posts a prime example towards the end of the game.
I would like to see them switch the play inside to Morris off an angle sometimes around the middle of field similar to what Cronk and Slater do for Melbourne,I thought there were a couple of opportunities for Hornby to do that instead of continuing either right or left with the play, especially in the last 10 minutes of each half when the opposition are tiring.
As for Hunt getting the MOM,he ran for 151M and made 26 tackles and maybe They thought there were no other standout performers,I dare say if Myles didn't give away those 2 penalties towards the end and the Titans manage to hold on for the win he probably gets the MOM because he ran for over 170M and made 45 tackles.
Finally I have got to say the lack of discipline regarding penalties and holding onto the ball would have and will kill our chances against a full strength side.

Defence was excellent but the attack is looking just as disjointed. The number of times passes went to ground and players were given the ball when not in motion. Furthermore, number of times we came up with stupid plays on the last and got caught in possession.

Awesome defence!.

Hunt led the way but the real winner was the attitude of the team, strewth they were determined!

Positives: Chase Stanley looked much more threatening than Kyle. Bigger, faster and a better fit at 3.
Goal line defence. Soward looked as confident as he has all year. Vidot was very solid.

Negatives: The commentary. It was funny for the first 5 minutes, but it became as boring as a BBC whinge.

Must be a sad day for the clown. Prior plays, and we win. Hunt gets MOM. He probably had paragraphs of diatribe ready to hurl at the computer. Now he'll just have to wait and suffer through us winning a game. Bet he hasn't been this pissed off since October 3 2010.

That was guts, determination, and pride in the jumper. Those six sets in a row on our line in the first half was unbelievable, I was proud to be wearing the red v last night, they put in a massive effort, as long as they keep doing that, no matter what place they are coming on the table, I will go watch them. Soward was massive, creagh looked threatening for the first time in a while, and chase showed little signs of his capabilities. Proud of the boys last night

Absolutely it was a game we should have won by 30 considering the opposition was the Titans with half the team missing & we played at WIN, but ... end of the day... we still had to win and arrest a massive losing streak.. and to do it the right way i.e. with defence, attitude & atleast an attempt at lighting up in attack, im very proud of them.
