Google Dean young Charity and you see that the man set up a charity to help someone with cancer selling some of his own things. Google Greg Inglis charity and you get hits on the charity shield, theres the difference between the 2 rigth there.

Inglis knowingly lied to be able to represent qld instead of nsw (he played for hunter sports high in the arrive alive cup in 2003, making him 16 and eligible for nsw). Inglis was part of the storms salary cap rort. Inglis reneged on a deal with broncos when offered more money by souffs.

I would say young>------------------------dogshit>-----------------Inglis

Really? I hate scraping dogshit off my shoe, I'd hate to have to scrape Inglis off it...

I'd have to rush out and buy these...

Or I could just leave my shoes out in the rain...

Thirdmerrin.

*cue weird alien music* That exact term popped into my mind when watching the game the other night (in between repeatedly calling Inglis a Gold Coast Suns player). As it turns out, Merrin didn't run in to fight, he was checking on Young and got accidentally tripped by Farrell on the ground.

Still, has a nice ring to it, and judging by how angry Merrin got on Saturday night, I'm sure it won't be too long before there is good cause to bring it out.

Ahhhhh well.

We're all dumb grubby bastards that no one likes according to LU.

We'll console ourselves with the fact we're in the top 4 and will be playing in September.

The Dragons, Tigers, Eels & Raiders fans in this thread can despise us all through their extended off-season, which basically has already begun.

Even the worst of these sides has a Premiership 15 years more recently than Souffs (Parra) and a most recent Grand Final appearance 23 years more recently (Canberra). Not to mention since 2000 these teams have contested 9, 3, 7, and 7 times and have finals records of 8 from 18, 6 from 9, 10 from 17, and 2 from 10 repectively. Compared to Souffs 1 series contested and 0 from 1 finals record (and let's not forget the 15 year absence preceeding that 1 finals series). Perhaps it would be wise to wait until Souffs have actually achieved anything before going off half cocked aginst fans of teams which in living memory have been vastly superior to yours?

How have Liverpool been going in recent years, by the by?

Thanks mate, awfully generous of you...

What's next, an invitation to meet in a secluded carpark?!

Meeting anonymous men in secluded car parks isn't my thing - I don't swing that way. So I'd decline the invitation even if it was extended. Thanks anyway princess.

senses: I realise my mob let the entire league world down on Saturday night by bombing about 1000 tries. Do you think your lot might be able to dig deep and set things to rights?

That's a nice story. I was talking about this season, though, and the fact that we're 6 points clear of the Tigers, 8 points clear of the Raiders & Dragons, and 16 points clear of the Eels.

If I wanted to talk about the past, I just would have casually mentioned our league-leading 20 premierships. I didn't want to talk about the past though, just the present. The present where we are winning, and are a fantastic football team, and those 4 sides are not.

Liverpool have been disappointing in recent years. I fail to see the relevance of that question, though?

Well, we've been pretty ordinary lately and we have a sizable injury toll, so it's unlikely, but would be hilarious if said request came to be so.

Fingers crossed.

While still clinging to the distant past as if it counts for squat today.

The present where we are winning, and are a fantastic football team, and those 4 sides are not.

You need to give Reggie a rest. Here's a new mascot for the Souff Sydney Winnings.

Well, no, I wasn't clinging to anything. I wanted to talk about the present. I think you'll find Jason was the one who wanted to discuss past glory. I guess you have to grab at something when you're having a season like the Dragons are.

Rusty probably knows Charlie Sheen. I'm sure he could get him to a Bunnies game. Good suggestion.

I look forward to Inglis having a 4-6 week stint on the sidelines. Deserves every minute of it.

He can bone up on his aeronautical engineering. It's raining in Sydney at the moment so there will be plenty of planes on the ground for him to check out. He might even be able to help out with security at the airport by shoulder charging a few ladies about to prevent them hurting themselves. Then he can move on to geography, contract law, boating tips. So many useful things he can do in his time off.

Quality human unit our Greggy.

Well according to you, the past doesn't matter, only the here and now. So if you want to mock Saints, the Tigers, Parra, and Canberra for being on a downer at the moment, I reserve the right to highlight how shit Liverpool have been in recent times. Of course, it's more embarrassing for Liverpool, who have a massive financial advantage over the vast majority of the teams they are competing against, unlike any NRL team.

You can do whatever you like, I just thought we were having a rugby league discussion, not about sport in general.

I completely agree with your points on Liverpool. They've spent their money ludicrously in the last couple of seasons, and King Kenny & Damien Comolli were rightfully fired as a result.

Hopefully, Brendan Rodgers is more frugal in his approach to the transfer market, and has us playing pass & move football, the way Liverpool Football Club are supposed to play.

Are there any other sports you'd like to discuss?

I'm a Baltimore Ravens fan if you want to do NFL?
