Sorry about that then, but the whole "dating" thing in Sleeping Dogs was quite lackluster, it could have been implemented much better.

Glad I'm not the only one who has a problem with the driving, I'm still trying to work our why it got such good reviews regarding the driving mechanics.

I'll be going at full speed on a bike, lose control and smash into a car and nothing comes of it. One moment later I'll just be accelerating from a standstill, lightly bump into a car and Wei goes flying 30 feet off the bike, bouncing for another 20 feet, before finally coming at a complete stop...Right at the feet of a group of gangsters just waiting to kick my arse while Wei takes half a day to dust himself off and pick himself up.

That is a true story, by the way.

LOL sounds like a nice day out in an open world sandbox game if you ask me...

I guess I liked the driving because its the only open world game where I have actually completed all of the race missions and had fun doing them...

The game is heaps of fun, but the driving, in my opinion, is lacklustre and buggy. Twice now I have lost street races because I've run into an invisible wall on a straight - seriously, Wei Shen went flying out of the windscreen 200 metres before the finish line.

But all in all, it's great fun.

I give this game a 8.5 out of 10,very fun and enjoyable.

Yeah I would say and 8.5 - 9 is a sound score for this game...

I dont know I just loved the mundane nature of some of the missions and the way it moved the story...

For me I roleplay the shit out of good Open World sandbox games and this game allowed for that perfectly... Like for a mission that required wearing a Tuxedo the game was a step ahead of me and while I went out and purchased a suit for the mission, I then realised that the first part of the mission was going to get fitted for a suit... it was just little touches like that that really impressed me.

Loving the game....

But there was a part when I was playing last night where there were no Triad or Police missions to do. So I drove around for ages doing side missions (races, drug busts, dates....etc) and still no missions.

Finally I note my objective: "Go to Sleep". So I take him home to have a sleep and now the missions are available. FMD.

My own stupid fault but I can't say I've played a game like this where my mission was to go to sleep lol.

Infamous had something similar where once all the story missions for a certain part of the city where done you had to head back to Zeke's place up on a roof.
