I love that he considers the international growth of the game a priority at all. Bad enough that we've seemed content with just having NSW/QLD in the past - but we should have been aiming high all along.

International growth is someone else's problem.

The N stands for National. Clubs come first.

Moffit never got the support from the bobble-heads that this bloke has. Hope he goes well, so far he seems to be setting up a bureaucracy to rival a government department, with press releases and corporate jargon to suit.

Remember, the commission is the answer to everything.

It doesn't take time to do some things. Some things can be done very quickly and easily. If they don't act in certain areas now it will be too late in 10 years or 20 years. You don't play catch-up by wasting another decade.

Change of management structure, strategic plan, introduction of performance revues of management admin (not happening before)involvement in ASADA mess, travel to PNG re govt support (financial) to the game of rugby league in that country, visitation to at least a dozen NRL clubs to assess needs/priorities,rationalisation of all rugby leagues in this country under the one banner setting up the new media unit that will be run by the NRL already senior journalist in place others to be employedslary cap increases over the next 5 years, regular meetings with state and fed MPs to ensure liason with future infrastructure and other community needs, consultation about grassroots needs, contact with high profile company contacts to try to get support for the code,a delay in negoatiating a deal with Sky NZ fot the Tv deal, due to that organisations reluctance to up the ante.

This off the top of my LOL head.

Yeah the ARLC has been sitting on its Ringo doing little.

I want MORE

Do you think he do good.

Moffett thought so much of the game,he took time off to cycle in France.
he had little idea of rl culture.I rang him on a talk back Q&A,asking him about getting rl into GPS and Assoc schools. His reply "ïts too hard."'
The guy was inert, inept and ineffectual.Out of his depth to be precise.

So a lot of talk. That's what I thought. You should apply for that journalist position too by the way.

I bet I'm younger than you.

I note your last couple of contributions have had no substance to them. You should be on the ARLC.

Where did I say we were worse off.

Jesus you need to learn to read.

When you said we had nothing and now we have slightly less than nothing. Jesus you need to learn how to write because I know thats not what you meant but it is what you wrote.

And before you say it, Jesus I need to learn how to quote to comments in one post

I'm sick of hearing "but before we had nothing" as if that makes it perfectly okay that we now have slightly less than nothing. The ARLC have a dream job. They can do f**k all for ever more because at least they're not News Ltd's NRL. In actual fact they should be doing more because now there is no excuse.

I thought you hadn't a clue now I am convinced ,the vast majority of what I stated has been put in place or about to.
Keep knocking if that gets your rocks off.
Haven't got time to apply ,need to spend my idle hours responding to negativity for negativity's sake.

So it was clear what I meant.

Exactly.

No it wasn't, I had to make an assumption about what you wrote. Me making that assumption does not make what you wrote clear, it makes what you wrote wrong in the context of what you were trying to say. You then criticisedd someone's reading skills when the problem was your ability to write a correct statement. Just because I was able to make that assumption does not mean others will.

There is a better than even chance that ECT is not a troll, just incredibly thick.

I tend to agree, This is a guy complaining about an organisation that has had no plan since about 1994. He now wants them to repeat the behaviours that have led to us being in this position. To do this right there needs to be a time of planning, I'm sorry but the areas that have had to wait 20 years for us to get this plan in place will need to wait a little longer.

Fixing problems hap hazardly has led to this mess that he wants fixed instantly, doing so without planning will condemn us to the same problems going forward.
