Broncos will part with Prince, Wallace, Anderson, Stagg just to name a few.

You guys seem to forget that Brisbane have nurtured many players from the younger ranks only to have them stolen by rival clubs, or codes. So don't go bleeding heart when we finally snag one.

I would have a guess that you don't know how much money any of those players are on.

All this has nothing to do with Milford. If he signs with Brisbane, he signs with Brisbane. No point crying about it.

No, they'd lose Prince, Hoffman and Wallace... makes perfect sense! :lol:

If the broncos do in fact get Milford and Barba, and play them both in the spine expecting amazing results, they are far dumber than i ever imagined. Both players are the anti structure. But they do need that typical RL structure so they know where to be to get the ball in the best position to do freakish things

If Milford is in the halves, Barba is going to be wasted at fullback because he's not going to know where to stand and be in order to get ball from Milford, same if the roles reversed. IMO there is really only room for one of those type of players in your spine. Two would create too much confussion for the rest of the team. You see it with the tigers when their primary play maker is this type of player, it results in some stunning tries but ultimately poor results... 2 of them being your primary play makers is going to be a very dumb and unsuccessful move

I think they will end up with Ben Barba, and Milford stays in Canberra. I dont think they are a snowballs chance in the firey depths of hell of getting either DCE or Cam Smith. Wouldnt shock me if Shillo went there too

Cna't see Shillo going there when they have a decent forward pack and have signed Kennedy who adds size to the pack.

Interesting take on Barba and Milford. To an extent I agree, I guess I see Hunt being to Milford what Prince was to Marshal. Hunt has decent attack, but not to Milfords level I don't think, or potentially his level anyway. If I could pick two from the four and put a spine together it would be Barba, Milford, Hunt and McCullough, personally. But can certainly see your point.

If by some miracle they did get DCE, it could possibly work. But i think the two players are far too unpredictable to be in the same spine and have success. It will be too hard for the rest of the squad to work with them, let alone working with each other.

Also i forgot K.Hunt is on his way back to the Broncos next year according to the courier mail.
One wonders where they are going to put them all

We don't want Shillo the Pillow. Plenty of space in our cap if some of the other clubs can hold onto all their stars. Doubt we will get Milford but Barba looks odds on at coming.

8. Shillington
9. Smith

Aren't they linked to McCrone as well.

Was only a few months ago they were talking about getting Johnson and Locke too.

It's going to be one superstar team that's for sure.

Is the Evander Cummings to Dogs thing just my mates stitching up or is it a real rumour?

Jason Clark -> Dragons
Andrew Everingham -> Japanese Rugby

Tom and George Burgess to stay with Souths for another 3 years each.

Would rather we keep Clark and let them have Lowe...

Too bad Evero couldn't keep up his 2012 form but we have up and comers i.e. Phillips, Gray

Great to hear about Tom and George though :D

have you heard any more ? are his recent denials just a smokescreen ?

http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-new...-brisbane-rumours-for-now-20130730-2qx0p.html

If you watch the Milford interview on the Raiders website he semi-denies it, any time the phrases "Broncos" or "Leaving Raiders" are brought up he says something along the lines of "I'm contracted until 2014, that's all I know, my manager takes care of the rest"

Sounds to me like he's still considering leaving during the off-season, even if the Raiders deny him a release he can sign for the Broncos this November for 2015, leaving the Raiders with the options of; releasing him for 2014, developing him for the Broncos in 2014, or putting him in reserve grade in 2014 for spite.
