You would need more than a lotto win to afford to buy Parramatta
I'd double up a couple of times.

If 20+ individuals all stood for the board independently with some of them having serious commercial acumen and experience then 7 would get voted in and we would have a non factional board.
On the back of Sid Kelly walking out on the board I wanna ask will everyone ever be on the same page at our club? Will we ever get any unity in this place?
I dream of supporting a club without following political faction, I dream of a successful front office and most of all I dream of a competative footy team, but it appears that we have people in powerful positions at the club who are willing to love the club to death... Literally!!
I fear that if this infighting doesn't stop than the club as we know it may die and die a painful death,
So the question I wanna ask is would you support a constitutional change that will outlaw tickets or factions at the club? I'm now at this stage where we need a radical change like this so that we, as a club can move forward...
On Saturday, we are celebrating a return to the 80's day,us members should march in unison to the ground chanting pat banaters 'love is a battle field' South Park style .... As comical as it sounds that's what we've become.
It's worth a shot. Could it really happen?

Yes, I would support such a change and also to allow postal voting to increase voting numbers so factions can't just rely on manipulating the current voting 2%.
If nothing changes Spags will be back next election for sure coz he'll be already working securing the extra 500 members he needs to turn up to secure it for him.

I could care less about Spags, my point was under the current voting system it will just end up like musical chairs with the same factions rotating each election. Factions survive because of the small pool of voting members we have, we need a larger pool to dilute the influence of these factions. You know what? I couldn't care if he was back or not but I'd love him to represent himself...in fact can you imagine if him and fitzy were on the same page?
True, but to be fair you can say the same about any amateur seeking positions they are not trained for, which is the exact same problem with the current mob. They won't be worse but they won't be better either, no matter how sincere they just don't have the acumen to succeed at what they have taken on, they're just more of the same well meaning amateurs. That's exactly right.
He got voted in on the back of "it was time for change".
Fair enough too.
He then got voted back out just as smartly because people thought he was doing a shit job.
He can't handle that. It would be hurting so much.
He'll do everything he can to get back on the board.
He's no different to what Fitzgerald was.
Power is a drug.
Suity

I am expecting a telegraph story in the next week about parra fans being fed up with all the bs and demanding unity after one of their researchers gets wind of this thread.
Yeah he was, he's an accountant and was Burty and Fui's manager as well as being a minor sponsor.
