I think with Vidot is that he just isn't an intelligent footballer and reads the game poorly, if he had the footy nous of a Greg Inglis he'd be nearly as good as him.

As we have good wingers what should we do with him?

Easy, not play them at fullback. Nightingale tried hard but he's uncomfortable there. The better option would've been Quinlan at fullback & Drinkwater to 5/8 or even Runciman to fb & Vidot to centre.

its called having confidence in your inside man in defence... if Chase "turnstyle" stanley is your inside man, its no wonder Vidot would be coming in each time...

most pathetic effort ever...
losing to the tigers and eels in consecutive weeks... surely Price must go!!
lowest moment in the clubs history at the moment...first time i have ever been embarassed to support the red V.

players not putting their bodies on the line, coach who is clueless, Executive team sitting on their hands doing nothing.

if the only reason they are keeping Price next season is because financially they dont want to pay out his contract at the same time they are paying a new coach then they are crazy... it will cost them more in loss of gate takings and sponsors next season then it would by simply paying Price out.. false economy

you're right

like winning, consistently losing only comes from a team effort.

As I said before, the reason I feel they have not got rid of him yet is BECAUSE they are waiting for the end of the season to sack him based on performance. If they sacked him earlier like Cowboys did to Henry then they may end up with egg on their face. I know nothing will change now till the end of the season but same appplies if they get a coach in now rather than at the end of the season.

These last 2 results may have benefited us more than anything as surely Price will be gone. If not then we have serious problems at the club. Lets wait and see what happens at the end of the season.

supposedly we beat the warriors by 20 - will that mean they keep Price, and the rest of the seasons efforts are disregarded?

It depends on the terms of the contract. It was extended but Price wasn't being sought after elsewhere, so surely the club covered itself with some sort of review clause based on performance... surely.

you would hope so... however i think their version of a review clause is the structure of the contract... 1 year deal with a 2 year option.
i suspect they were planning to review Price after the 1st year of the new deal... however since that deal was announced (about 10 minutes after it was announced to be honest) the roosters belted us and we went down hill from there - to a level i suspect even the board didnt feel could be achieved by Price.

my gut feel is that they will end up paying him out the 12 months and getting someone else on board... hopefully

Once again we lead and then go to f**king sleep and lose with poor goal line defence - that is what will happen next week too. FFS make it a farewell for Cooper, Fein, Prior and Steve Price next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How sad have we become?

Only Price's Dragons Footy could play Benji back into form after a dismal year.
Only Price's Dragons Footy could lose to the worst NRL team in living history.
Only Price's Dragons Foory could make Ben Roberts look like Wally Lewis
Only Price's Dragons Footy could make an 18 year old look like Andrew Johns on debut.
I can't wait for another 12 months of Price's Dragons Footy!

Slippery I admire your optimism, albeit misplaced methinks.

Price's influence on our Club has been catastrophic to say the least. Did I not foresee the depths we have now plunged to, midway through last season? Was I not ridiculed for making what was observed to be, negative treacherous statements about our Coach and the Club, I love? Was it not suggested that I actually enjoyed seeing our team loosing? Where are my detractors now? Sorry, but I have been saving this one up for a long time.

Well guess what, I am still here, still supporting the team that I have followed since 1938. As for my detractors, well ........?

Slippery I still have fundamental doubts that the Club is going to deal with the Coach issue effectively. The sad truth is that many aspirants now view coaching our once great club as a poison chalice. But in my view it is also one hell of an opportunity as well.

To undo the damage that Coach Price has caused will not be simple. One thing is for sure, Price's eradication will be central to whatever path our Club chooses to take.

I have faith in Doust and am sure he will sort out this mess by sacking Price. Just waiting for the right time and when he has a replacement lined up. I hear he is one of the best CEO in Sydney and does not like to reveal to much. Rather than sack Price and have the circus carry on about a replacement he will probably announce the sacking and new coach the same day.

Who's to say Sheens has not allready agreed but both parties not saying anything till World Cup is over.

I think we as fans should just act like Steve Price has been sacked at the last game. Maybe if the players thought he was gone too they wold win !!!!!!!!!!!

The Dragon army turning their backs when the team runs out would send a clear message.
Personally don't like this as it's the management who should feel the brunt of a protest ,not the players.
