Yes we were talking to him back then. Hope we sign him, he's a gun by all reports. Just wish it was 2014.

I recall watching him in first grade and thinking, will he ever do anything of any note? I'd rather play Todd Lowrie on the wing.

I reckon the smaller quick wingers generally have a longer time coming into first grade. I recall RTS took awhile to find his feet. I also remember we had huge wraps on James Roberts at Souths, but he was very disappointing when he debuted. But looked like he was finally coming good this year at Penrith, when not injured. James Tedesco is another that comes to mind

Yes, whilst still being eligible for the Under 20's in 2013 & in only his second full year of playing Rugby League after coming from Union RTS has taken a long time to find his feet :lol:

Hopoate -> Canterbury
Ricky -> Canberra

Hopoate is gorn if Ricky goes and Ricky to Canberra is a done deal.

You're a dull boy

Ricky didn't sign Hoppa therefore no clause could be in his contract relating to Sticky at all

The media is just grasping at straws now to keep the fire lit.

McFadden has thrown his hat into the ring for the raiders job.

You can call Omar many things, but I don't think 'quick' is one of them. Very skillful, and with a good footy brain on him, but he's never been pacey.

If him and Peter Hiku had stayed at Mt Smart he would of been 5th choice fullback in 2014 : Lock > Fish > Hiku > Hukatai> Omar.

I really don't see how the Bunnies would regard him as a prized signing or someone worth talking to over these past 2 years. I'd imagine he'd play a lot of reserve grade in 2015 and would land up being a depth player.

RTS always seemed like he was doing the job without scoring a lot of tries early, as in, taking the ball forward and holding his own. Everytime Omar got the ball you crossed your fingers that he wouldn't be rolled back 5 metres and/or cough the ball up.

Besides, as I understand it he is a grossly overpaid contract in Japan. He could buy the Chatham Islands with what he's earning.

Hull KR hooker Lincoln Withers has announced that he will return to Australia at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old joined the Robins ahead of the 2012 season and has played 39 league games for the club.

He told the club website: "Myself and my family will be heading back to Australia at the end of the season.

"I'm undecided as to whether or not I'll be carrying on playing footy back home or maybe starting a new chapter in my life."
