Stupid rule, if its dangerous for a attacker to tackle a defender in the air then its equally dangerous the others way.

Re op should be 2weeks but probably none, such is the stupidity of our judiciary.

Yep, makes a mockery out of the NRL decision to ban the shoulder charge for "player safety" when you can still do stuff like this on the field

Rule needs to be changed if the NRL are serious about player safety. You can either take people in the air or not, shouldnt matter whether they are attacking or defending players

dont forget the metal advertising signs behind the tryline. How many times has player came close to getting seriously injured running into the signs after chasing a kick. Dont worry they will be changing this rule after rothfield writes his artical tomorrow. NRL looking after the players safety my ass :lol:
