Shouldn't get anything. Clearly an accident and I don't believe it even warranted a penalty.

Not even a penalty

He took him out before he caught it.....not too mention he landed more dangerous than any other player this year.

Accident maybe but f**k me, we are lucky sisa Waqa can walk again

Nothing in it. Purely accidental and barely touched him too. I'll be a disgrace if he's even charged.

Rule needs to be changed if the NRL are serious about player safety. You can either take people in the air or not, shouldnt matter whether they are attacking or defending players

Sorry, but thats crazy.

Defenders have no choice but to go for the ball.

For attackers its optional.

Sure, both can be dangerous but defending your try line comes first.

Unless it's clear he took him out without the ball (I'd like to watch the video) It shouldnt be an issue.

To have to wait for an attacker to land before you could tackle him would border on netball.

And be virtually unworkable.

I saw it as similar to the incident in the Manly v Tigers game where Nofoaluma was bumped in mid air by Taufua in attempting to score. Because he didn't land on his head it wasn't an issue.

Wasn't a tackle but it was not pleasant to watch they kept replaying it at he stadium. Really worried for Waqa hope he's okay

There's accidental head-highs that get plenty so why is this any different? Never had eyes for the ball, took his legs out from under him, and put him in a dangerous position. If part of the NRL's mandate is to provide a duty of care to players then Farrell should get plenty.

As a defender you dont have to have 'eyes for the ball'

I dont think there is much intent but its a shoulder charge on a defenseless player, interesting to see how it goes.

Looked to me like Waqa leapt over Farrell, he can't just disappear
