I hadn't stumbled into the FFB to cross paths with you at that stage.

You were mostly in Annapolis from memory when we spoke of this before.
The wife and I were also in Florida at the same time you were!

Also: 3/4 done with your draft. Enjoying it, will email you with thoughts and the like soon.

Was up at 6.30 this morning to get on a train from Washington to New York.
On the train now and still got hours to go.
After this I get to jump on a plane home to Sydney with a stop over in LA.

So much traveling in so little time. I'm going to be wrecked by the time I get home.

What are you doing in the States? Business or pleasure?

 I was just messing. I wasn't on the FFB at the time either. 'Tis a pity, though. Not sure when I'll next be Stateside.

Glad you're enjoying the draft. I look forward to your thoughts!

One of my brothers lives in California so I was visiting him and his family for Christmas.
I've been over to see him 3 times before but never came over to the east side of the states. This time I decided to visit New York and DC to make the most of the exorbitant prices the airfares charge to come over at Christmas time.

Family reunion today. And I have to work. What a shame...

House full of people too. No sleep due to snoring noise. Yuck.

I hated those big get togethers with the family.

So I solved it by moving a few 1000kms away to a place where none of them lived.

My mum was so disappointed when I couldn't get the day off work...

I didn't even try.

I don't want to sit around and listen to my uncles/dad/cousins talk about how much money they have/their new tv/new car/latest holiday/some other stupid thing I don't give two shits about.

I'd rather just sit in my bedroom alone and read a book...LOSER.

Been to one family reunion of sorts.

Was when my sister managed to track down all of my mums brothers and sisters (all 15 of them, mum was fostered out when she was 3) and they went to mums house for a BBQ.

Haven't spoken to any of them since.
