Yep. It's all just a Gen Y thing. Bar fights started by drunken idiots certainly would never of happened back in the day... And disrespecting the police, oh me oh my! Imagine if any other generation had done such a thing...

Why did he go to the police station wearing a cap & t-shirt ? ( not sure whether he was hearing shorts or pants? )

I know it's not court, but not a good look for Craig Garvey or the club

i would have thought the club would have some sort of dress code rules in place to prevent this type of unprofessional look from occurring, or at least the players manager should have a clue....

Deadset, innocent until proven doesn't count for much around here does it? Eat our own much?

Fair enough, but my question was in relation to his choice of clothing. In my opinion a collared shirt & no cap would've shown how seriously he viewed the situation ( out of respect for himself & the club ).

I realise the club doesn't provide specific training for this, but surely they would've known he was visiting the police station & someone should've advised him to dress appropriately. Anyway, as you say, innocent until proven otherwise should be how Craig Garvey is treated.

I agree with innocent until proven guilty, but that coward punch has to be dealt with harshly, too many kids dying or maimed.

Yep. He was better dressed on the night of the assault

off the mark yet again...

So you believe in guilty without trial?
Fair enough. Fortunately for society in general people like you don't run the judicial process.

Speaking of off the mark, how's the whole Leeson hate and Kyle at starting half working out for you?

point is there would be no need for a trial if he simply didnt throw a punch...

and yes i still dont rate Leason Ah Mau - as Jeninga said if he is our form forward we are in for a long season...

Wtf?
But he did (allegedly) throw a punch and there is a trial, and people are calling him a low life thug and demanding he be kicked out of the club.
I'll be joining them, after he has a fair trial and if he is found guilty.
Until then name calling and invective should be kept on hold.

Precisely.. i've given up trying to highlight that there are valid situations for a punch to be thrown in a defensive situation.. yet some dragons fans here are ready to throw the kid under the bus, he may aswell have king-hit or head-stomped somebody... whats the difference?

The subject of punching on in Origin comes to mind with this argument too.

then why the f@#k would garvey tell him "im gunna knock u the f@#k out" before hitting him??

Speaking from experience... wen i tell someone "im gunna knock u the f@#k out" its cause that person has really gotten under my skin and DESERVED it.
i know we dont know the full facts

... but believe me.. 90% of guys that get knocked out DESERVE IT.

Where do you start with that? Not the brightest around I'm guessing.

Someone gets under your skin so they deserved to be knocked out? Someone accidentally bumps into you & spills his & your beer, deserving of being knocked out? Looking at your GF or wife, deserving of being knocked out ?

It's really not that difficult to walk away if someone is getting under your skin, unless you have a need to prove to all & sundry how tough you are.

90%, are we to believe you that it is a fact, according to you. I take it you work in security industry, clubs/pubs or a police officer and you are privy to what happens in each & every case where a person is knocked out.
