    Sack Flanagan

It's Monday morning, so i took it as they hadn't yet informed the players and other staff who they had appointed and wanted to advise them first

They definitely did not say that. In usual NRL 360 fashion they said he's the leading contender, before saying there may be some internal concerns that he's part of the current coaching staff, before saying the Cowboys want him and then going back again to saying he has his nose in front of Hornby.

In the last 18 months the Dragons have actually made some big off-field changes. New CEO from outside the club, recruitment boss Anderson from outside, and Ben Creagh stepping in as COO. We’ve also finally got stability at board level with Andrew Lancaster as Chair instead of ridiculous yearly...

Lomax. I have no knowledge, nor have a I read any speculation on this but I would be shocked if we weren't at least discussing Lomax in some capacity.

You do realise these employees are covered by the same general protections as every other employee in other industries? Haran may be a permanent employee or have a term left on his contract. It is very unlikely that he can be unilaterally terminated. These restructure processes take a lot of...

CFO Marl Sawicki has left the club. Was only there for about 16-17 months. Interestingly, his LinkedIn profile states one of his key achievements a the club was uncovering $700k in fraudulent transactions.

    Matt Feagai a new level

He's got another year on his deal. He is a a centre all day, every day. Looks half the player on the wing.

So much will occur in this off season. Part of the reason why we've left a few spots open. Clubs will be looking at doing whatever they can to extend their big names beyond 2026 to stop the Bears for 2027. I would imagine there is going to be a few good quality, second from the top players on...

I agree. While Flanagan and LKT don't really have a long kicking game, in fairness to them, they're often kicking from inside our own 30. Need a forward or two who can really make some meters.

    R 23 v Sharks Sat 09/08/25 @3pm

King Togia and Flanagans kicking games have improved out of sight the last two weeks. Granted the breeze has helped but well done to them both and the coaching staff. Great performance by the forwards, thought Sele was very good and Stewart’s knock was origin quality. Flanagan justifying his...

    Flanno's New Signings

Absolutely. We did it under Griffin when he played money ball with McGuire, Norman, McCullough etc, trying to bring through Amone, Sullivan & Sloan and it didn't work out.

    Flanno's New Signings

I don't think they'll improve the team out of sight - frankly, though, we probably win 5-6 more games this year if one of our halves could kick. Atkinson and Douehi bring that. The most important thing is that those young players like King-Togia, Stewart, T Couchman & Loko will all be another...

Using figures is a really poor way to describe the salary cap nowadays. The cap continues to increase and a $500k in the cap is a lot different to what it was 3-4 years ago. We really should talk about the salary cap in percentages. I.E the offer to Douehi is 6% of our cap.

Flanagan and Young aren't going anywhere, unless by choice. The Club has just landed Anderson, a new CEO has started and they've changed the constitution; which has allowed Lancaster to remain Chair. For the first time in a long time the Club are looking at themselves as the core issue.
