But can't the extra standby players turn out for their clubs this weekend? Surely they aren't going to stop all 22 from playing?

You would think they would have to trim the squad before the weekend?

I imagine Tonga was cover for Hodges? In case he didn't make it through the game last night. Chambers is in the squad and I imagine he is number 3 center - so if Billy is no good Chambers plays with Inglis to FB. If Inglis is no good, Milford to FB?

Grats to Willie, but we need him vs Dogs, so hope he isn't required by them!!

The teams been leaked. Changes are:

Trex out Bird in
Dugan & Hoppa in for Morris bros

The TRex change is horrible.

He played ok in game 1, and neither scott nor hoffman offer anything from the bench as an impact player. Should have been one of them who missed out.

I'd play Dugan on the Wing and Hoppa as centre, if that's who LOz wants.

THB I would not pick Hoppa at all. He's been solid for us, but there are a heap of players way above him. Leaving state eligibility aside Whare, Beal, Gagai & Walker are all ahead of him in attack. Hoppa is certainly a good defender and can put his winger in, but can he beat a man ? Hoppa's got the edge because he's not a rookie. Having said that, he's only played 1 other game for NSW.

Hoppa's ball handling skills mean he should have someone outside him.

Dugan's ball handling skill means he he has to be on the wing.

This is Origin. You can't leave state eligibility aside.

Dugan at centre is crazy, he has hardly played there. He will caught a few times in defence, let's hope it doesn't lead to points.

Hoppa should have been centre with McManus (his been there and is very safe) as winger.

I can't believe that a natural club centre in Hopoate was shafted out to the wing in favour of a ridiculously over-rated player in Dugan...

Having said that, after Dugan's opposite carves him up a few times, Hoppa will move to centre and we will be fine.

Dugan plays well against a team that if we put together a team of members from this parra forum would beat, and gets selected at centre.

Please at least swap Hoppa and Dugan around come the start of the game.

daley seems to have a man crush on dugan and looks for whatever reasons he can find to justify his selection. dugan did well to be in the right place to score three tries against sharks but put into perspective, it is the current sharks which, until they get a big chunk of their good players back, are pretty ordinary.

i would have picked hopoate at centre and pat richards on the wing.
