I think the fact that he hasn't been involved in any drama (well at least not publicly) and comes across as a well behaved guy means people give him the benifit of the doubt. It's different to a situation where boyd wrecked a hotel room or pearce shagging a dog before they came out with a mental health problem which is why people aren't quick to bag him
It's just a game.Know the full story do you?
It was not a "left on good terms" situation at all.
Nothing to do with what he is going through now so I'll just leave it.
I'm actually heartened by the concern that's been shown on here. I tend to agree with other posters that foran seems a really level headed fella.
Hope what ever the situation is works itself out.
Hope the story I heard isn't true, good luck to him whatever the case is.
Also, not sure where the DT gets off saying he has been stood down when the Eels statement clearly says granted leave.
No respect for the bloke, but mental health is not a joke.
Hope he gets through it all OK.
I still cannot understand why. Fans from 15 others clubs are pretty well united in total respect for a bloke who oozes class in everything he does. Probably time to take stock that people leave clubs every now and then, and as long as they don't shake hands on a deal then reneg at the last minute, they can hold their heads up.
That's the reason this hasn't been chased harder I believe, the media completely respect this guy and know it's coming from a place of honest struggle - not a shaky admission of mental health trouble after a piss-related incident.
Best of luck to him, hope he's back firing soon.
dodgy reporting by the DT (which I think it is) and that info didn't come from within Parra which would indicate they are trying to cover something up
Well Nice Beaver takes Rugby League a bit too seriously. Sad really.
Good luck Foz.
