Only if we could have numerous VR of the players sitting down. KFC has to get its quota in.

On Saturday evening the Bulldogs beat the Broncos leaving them on 25 points.

On Sunday Wests play Cronulla with both on 24 points but both have better differentials then Brisbane.

So come 2pm Sunday Esan Marsters kicks off, it goes to Chad Townsend who catches the ball, then all 26 players sit down on the field and enjoy the Sydney sun for the next 90 minutes. Both teams get a point and both qualify for the finals.

Would the referees do anything? Would Todd Greenberg step in and ban both sides from the finals ensuring the Broncos make it?

I know it would never happen but it would nearly be worth it for the LOLs

What would happen....

There would be dancing in the streets and a massive tantrum north of the border. Make it happen, please.

I recall a similar thing many a year ago in tri series cricket involving a bonus point. The way the game planned out it was in both teams interest (possible it was SA and NZ long time ago) to cruise through the last 20 overs and make no effort to change the course of the match. Both got through to final and eliminated Australia

Edit: NZ even admitted to throwing the game and giving away the bonus point

What about if the whole game was just block plays where the outside runner is on the inside runner's shoulder. 0-0. Fans are happy, refs are happy, KFC is happy

The battle of the most relocatable clubs in the NRL: The Sharks and the Wests Tigers.

This game should have been played in Perth.

If it were melbourne pulling it, it would be classed as innovative coaching and in a few years every club will be doing it because the nrl would do f**k all about it

It would be epic and hilarious at the same time. Also it would be a highlight of a very shitty season.
