Poorly worded m8.

:thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking:

Kieran Foran is back in the New Zealand team

Foran's withdrawal to the testing ground is the culmination of a period that has seen him move away from his life and become a leading player in the NRL again.

Three years ago, a series of personal problems and an injury that ended the season threatened to derail his career as a player after an unfortunate move to Parramatta Eels, but the 29-year-old has rebuilt his life since then.

Now playing for Canterbury Bulldogs, Foran is grateful to be able to change things.

"I didn't realize it at the time, but my life was going completely down the drain," Foran said. Stuff.co.nz at the beginning of this year.

One for the haters.

The most points scored in one season was 984, during the Parramatta Eels’ runners up season of 2001.

Also, one for @parra pete ; was Cumberland a team that was aligned to the 1947 Parramatta club in some way ?

Cumberland hold perhaps the most remarkable and depressing record on the books. In 1908, they managed to amass a mere 38 points all season. What’s even more remarkable, though, is that they did manage to win a game that season.

No they are 2 separate clubs
Cumberland came into the competition after it started so I'm not surprised they went so bad

Yes I understand the timeline. 1908 vs 1947. I was moreso asking if they were Parramatta based, as the word Cumberland could mean anything.

Yeah they were a western suburbs union team that moved across to league but they didn't have a home ground
Sounds like Greenburgs ancestor was their CEO

Actually Wiki has them based in the Ashfield / Homebush area. They formed after a (pissy) meeting at the Horse and Jockey Hotel in Homebush. Then, totally plastered, played that afternoon. They played every game in the 1908 season pissed. OK I might have made some of this up.

Phew, so really the worst season ever was in West Tigers territory.

Believe we will work with Adrian Jiminez, not sure but think he is slightly more senior. Replaces AFL guy in essenc.
Exactly. Jiminez is the head. Elkin replaces the other guy who resigned. Elkin doing the more hands on role (Strength and Conditioning)

A welcome return. Stoked for him.

Brendan Inkster replaces the AFL guy as “Head of Athletic performance”

Elkin is “NRL Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach”

Looks like Alex Rooke is an assistant strength and conditioning coach

Couldnt find anything official stating Jimenez roles but it appears he may be a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Head Trainer.

https://thecumberlandthrow.com/2019/03/14/eels-pre-season-training-wrapping-it-up-edition/

So it appears Brendan is the boss and not sure who is more senior Jimenez or Elkin.
