3.Lomax
2.McInnes
1.Dufty
Loving Lomax’s progress, especially his kick chase and pressure he puts on the halves. Not many centres in the NRL are having as much impact on their team as him the last two weeks. Pressures the kickers, first upfield on kick chase, dangerous in attack, flawless in defence and top shelf goal kicking.

Lomax was very good, particularly in defence. Great in fact.
Cam, yes, again a 110% effort.
Dufty showed today he can pass ( and even kick ).
Special mention to Clune as well.

What a useless f**king team and I’m not talking about the Titans.

So much of this f**king Maryball does my head in. When was the last time a player offloaded let alone looked to offload. And even if they did there is no one within cooee of the ball carrier. The good teams run lines whilst we play Maryball.

Next week McTrainee is booked in for a footy lesson to learn first hand how good teams play. And then after the game he has a science lesson where he learns about Bunsen burners and heat on ones arse.

I know you were a good fwd Henry but to me we seem to pass the ball at the defensive line with opposition right in our face. Why can't they put a player thru a gap or pass the ball just a bit earlier. So frustrating to watch know the ball is going to ground. Was it a bit damp today?

2nd half score was 6 all. Titans had 1 sub most of it. How poor is that?

But what stood out was 1min 30 to go and with for and against being crucial, they decide to go for the 2 points....WTF? And on top of that, did not even get the 2 points.

Saints were looking good then Rava struck with his 2 drop balls per game. That is how many he dropped against Sharks and probably teh games before then. Saints should have went in at the break with 20+ points instead went in with 14. How many bad passes did Clune throw in the first half, nearly intercepts or hospital balls. I did not remember seeing Tristian throw one in his games just cruise past some Roosters players to score a try from nothing. Yeah, the benchmark team.

Clune did set 1 try in the second half and had some good kicks but in the first half, he was going to the line which was good but his passes were poor. I am sure he will improve with more game time I suppose. 2nd half he was much better so will probably keep his spot. I just feel for Tristian as he is younger and has more potential to be a star than Clune.

How good was Dufty and Lomax. They were great today. I didn't know Dufty had a kicking game in him as well.

I agree with the overall sentiment of your post, but i think you are a tad harsh on Clune.

TBH, i think he was very good considering its only a few games in. Seeme very poised and conservative, but in the first half when we were going well, threw a beaut dummy only to be pulled down down by 2 defenders. Yes, some arratic passes, but I would give him a 7-8/10 today.

You raise a good point about our opposition. They were depleted and offered zip.

I would stick with Clune and give him a fair shake at first grade. Not much to be excited about, other than a win.
