Rumours and Stuff

There’s been a lot of negative comments re Dylan Brown, he does some very good things that get no notice.

There’s a young boy in Westmead Hospital intensive care ward who will disagree. Someone must have contacted Dylan and let him know this young boy was doing it tough but Dylan was his favourite Eel. Unannounced Dylan turned up at his bedside, stayed for at least 1 1/2 hours , chatting and gave the boy his playing shirt and other stuff. He now calls him at least once a week to check on his progress and said he will see him again at Xmas.

Looks like he has more than turned the corner so to speak, good on Dylan, he now has a fan who won’t forget his visits.
To be fair to Dylan, he has been doing that type of stuff for a long time. Always been generous with his time

Forget Santa Claus, it’s all about exit clauses at Parramatta.
Three of the Eels’ best players — halves Mitchell Moses and Dylan Brown, as well as strike centre Will Penisini — all have contract options in their favour where they could opt out of the Eels in the next two years.
No they could opt to stay ffs
It’s a key cause of angst among the blue-and-gold faithful,
It sure f**king is, the weak gutted dope merkins.
who fear an exodus of talent could set the club back years.
The same talent that won us 7 games this year.
Parramatta are working with Moses’ management to remove his options,
*sign an extension
but the immediate concern is Brown and Penisini, who both have until May to commit for the 2026 season.
They can sign their upgrades right up until they are withdrawn.

That’s a really good trait. But when you do those things you don’t do it to get noticed. You do it to help others with out expecting anything in return. And if he has been doing those things then that says a lot about him. I have been critical of him ever since his off field incident, his dumb posts on social media . But I like this stuff. Hopefully he has a massive consistent year.
I think he's been doing things like that without ever wanting attention.
