-2.4 degrees here and my sons game is on in 90mins, I think that is sensational, the wife doesn’t agree haha. 2nd last game today, gee I’m going to miss it after next week is done, highlight of my week.

I can hear Gus Gould, 'they're so bunched up you could throw a blanket over them'.

60-14, Broncos over Rabbitohs. A crisis at Redfern, the 'rockstars' ramping it up at Red Hill.

I believe Townsend's retirement in a few weeks (sorry, Roosters!) will mean the 2016-winning Cronulla side are all gone. End of an era for Sharks fans.

Correct haha. The opposition seemed to have at least 4-5 players that were a bit older than 7, our team had a good crack though. My boy decided today was the day to run straight at them haha said it didn’t hurt getting smashed

'The pass from Mam to Walsh was forward'. But Walsh keeps going, and going, and going...after he heard the whistle.

18-8, Brisbane. Halftime.
Man to get Bronocos calls I think we would be 1st on ladder.
High shot head gear comes off, nothing happened. Lost ball missed, called 6 again then try. Staggs sliding up high shot, then not square at marker diving on ball, try soon after.
Then another forward pass special by Reece for try.
FMD.

Are these officials legitimate? Are they really reviewed?

Also goes to show the Tits are no mugs when they came over here.

Strange side, feel like the Jayden Campell injury makes or breaks them.

They are an exciting squad, but poorly put together overall, lacking experience and hard edge mentality. Foran will be a huge loss for them, RCG hasn’t brought what he should for them in that department

Aside from RCG they have at least another 4 origin or international forwards…. I agree there are issues with how it’s built, but they should be better week in week out

That's why we don't want a repeat of 2023, where we go to Brisbane to play them in a final.

The Panthers? Blast! How good would a Titans upset have been?! So close though, 30-26, Penrith. Final. Penrith finding that way to win at the death again. They're dangerous and look like premiership favourites to me.

10-all, Dragons v Raiders. Halftime. Rain and wind battering Wollongong. St George have blown a great chance to pile points on. Only one tried scored with mountains of possession and repeat sets.

...the Dragons chant is going up in the 'Gong. Going into a fierce southerly and it's still 10-all. 25 mins to go.

...Corey Allen scores in the corner! The upset is on. 16-10, St George.
...and Dragons hold out for an 18-12 upset. But it's the upset we didn't really care about for Warriors fans.

An interesting question on ABC Radio: who was the last toe-poker goal-kicker in first grade? Mal Meninga stands out, Mark 'Piggy' Riddell had the ball pointed that way but kicked around the corner. The 'Big O' Filipaina was another. I heard the answer.

Remember, toe-poking went out of vogue in the very early '90s. Even the late-'80s.

We'll go into round 23 in fourth place but absolutely no-one - here, there, or anywhere - talks about us as premiership winners.

It's weird, as Canberra, Canterbury, Melbourne, Penrith, and Brisbane don't suffer the same.

We're currently about $31 at the TAB.
