I actually said to a couple of guys in the ground that the new viewers on Sky who hadnt seen much RL before were probably loving it, but yeah, give me an intense 10-8 victory with massive hits and brilliant defensive reads any day over the stuff I saw at Odsal on Monday.

One of the worst games of Footy I have ever witnessed live last night. A very poor advert for SL.

BJB was the water boy tonight. Shaun Wane was the difference for me. Wigan are the most structured team I have ever seen in this country and what that means is that no matter who slots in, it makes little difference. When you have between 3 and 8 decoys on every attacking play and every...

    Rugby League 9's

Mick? Ref bash?! Apart from the try awarded for the most blatant double movement ever, there wasn't much to criticise ;)

    Rugby League 9's

They were all Valvoline Cup (U20s) players apart from Chris Clarkson of Leeds. Some very good talent on show though. It was a very entertaining night and there were some stars of the future on show.

    Rugby League 9's

Cheers. Mick is a very good commentator and does work for the RFL now. I just turn up with him and say what I see  We actually weren't there to do the DVD/Website commentary. We were just doing hospital radio but the camera guy came down and asked if we minded and put a little microphone...

    Rugby League 9's

It was the 1st weekend of the RL 9's last night with games being played across the country. I was commentating at Featherstone where the hosts, Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield were playing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG3j7e56nqc&list=UU23NsmMtJkdU-bbLZx8dzQw&index=1&feature=plcp Here...

    3 red card brawl

 Awful fight. Mossop was the only one who landed a clean one and didn't get pulled up on it. Im glad though because McGennis is a dead set merkin for the blind sided punch on Tuson.

    Magic Weekend

I think Sharp though he had Hodgson covered but just underestimated how quick he was. I was surprised anyway, I know that. I've never seen him finish a try like that before!

    Super League Crowds 2012

Gillingham and Twickenham are 45 miles apart according to google maps. Good crowd for MNF last night too. Saints fans travelled well and the atmosphere was pretty good in there.

Where did you end up in the ground Newman? Decent game of footy. Some big hits and a few good tries. Saints played well that last 20 mins and deserved the win. Zak Hardaker frustrates the hell out of me though! He has one of the best wingers in the world outside of him but passed to him once all...

    James Graham

21 hit ups, 172 metres, 35 tackles and a line break in 59 mins today. Not a bad effort

    James Graham

Yeah, it's like cold for one month of the season in SL. March/April onward its like 15-25 so it's pretty similar. Only place it's different is Queensland and what's that, 2-3 games a year? I agree with the posts above re being held back. He ran Saints pack for the past 5 years and 14 hit ups is...

    Any tips?

Where ate you at headingley? If you get seats id suggest the Carnegie. The view up there's amazing and even though it's behind the sticks it is the best view in the house. You'll be glad to know the weathers set to get in the 20s after tomorrow too

    Any tips?

You wanting to sit or stand? It's I crappy little ground and I suppose wherever you are you'll have a decent view. The biggest stand is behind the posts but the locals stand down the sidelines. You taking in a proper game tomorrow night? ;)

George has been exposed badly a couple of times tonight. Very good with ball in hand but poor at reading what's in front of him.
