    18th man as replacements for players suffering concussion

    I think it should be if a player has suffered concussion due to an illegal tackle (eg being put on report or sent off), then the team with the injured player can use their 18th man to replace him. However if the tackle is not deemed illegal, the substitution can't be made.

    Well Ben Smith played for Wenty, however i think it was stated that Mortimer will start in the halves and that would probably push Joel Reddy back to the centres replacing Ben Smith. Unless we have one other player in our backline injured i highly doubt he will get the call up.

    Parramatta training was suspended this afternoon after an unknown and unusual white powder substance was discovered at Parramatta stadium. Police and ASIO attended the scene and after close examination, the players then discovered it was the try line.

    Rumoured Signings - 2010

    I heard that Jonathan Thurston will be reuinited with some of his old team mates at the dogs next year. Thurston's manager has a son that plays SG ball for the dogs and is said to have many connections within the club. The source is normally reliable;-)
