    I would imagine Gidley would play at 5/8 with Bird moving to the backrow. I don't think Mullen should of been there and it was a mistake to pick him in game one.

    So Ricky Stuarts Premiership and state of origin wins don't mean anything because he had a bunch of good players in those teams. so i guess that means Sheens, Bennet, Gould, etc aren't very good either, since you know they had a bunch of good players in there teams as well.

    Walsh - can we keep him

    Is Walsh ever going to play firstgrade? Even with our three first choice halves Johns Mullen and Abraham all out injured he couldn't even get a bench spot. Kidley Brown and Karawana all seem to be ahead of him as well.

    I'm pretty sure Brian Smith would of told the backs to do that to give the forwards a rest. We have used pretty simple game plans all season and still made a ton of handling errors, we at least managed to hold onto the ball this time so yeah i guess we are getting better.

    kimmorley would fit in well here since pretty much all our attacking plays are just inside balls to forwards. Dammit i miss our awesome backline.

    Ok how about play Abraham at 5/8 then after 30 minutes or so bring Seu Seu on and move Buderus to half and Mullen to 5/8.

    yeah i agree with you, hes a fine player and i'm sure he will be a star but hes not quite ready to be our no1 playmaker just yet. hes still doing ok though.

    The knights would be insane to not go after a quality forward this year. Perry is a joke, easily the worst number 8 of all the premiership contenders and we dont have the backline to make up for it like in previous years.
