    Muspratt went back home

You know, Parramatta had an inspired recruitment policy in 2003. Sign everyone off the benches of the clubs lower on the ladder. Muskrat, Mukkert, Cannings etc etc Oh, and I guess I shouldn't mention Stringer. ;-)

    Bombers, Manly unite

Jason King (Princess) collides with Joe Mesiti. Princess out for the season.

    My challenge to everyone here

Some people are incapable of detecting sarcasm.

    Bombers, Manly unite

Why don't they just play a game of League? If 2004's form holds Essendon will still win by 32. And why bother changing balls? I doubt our chaps would know the difference anyway. All the better to cough the pill up with.

    My challenge to everyone here

What is it with Sir Clifford and his obsession with merkins?

    Signing of the season

At least we're consistent - we averaged 32 points against in First Grade last year. Why shouldn't the young 'uns follow suit. The most disturbing news was that Ewen McGrady cut us to ribbons. :?

    Second trial news

Yeah it's fine. It'll be better than Suncorp is most winters. Bore water and some big thunderstorms. Just trying to cause heart flutters.

    Second trial news

You obviously haven't seen the condition of Pioneer Oval recently have you? They haven't been able to water it with the drought. I hope the players don't mind picking bindies out after every tackle.

    Signing of the season

We're hoping that the Bombers might snap him up this Thursday. He's shown he can kick a ball a long way.

    Second trial news

What is Parramatta's thinking with the trials? 1. Travelling all over the place 2. Playing three rather than two 3. Having a three week gap between the last trial and the first round. It's an 'interesting' approach?

    Signing of the season

You guys don't want Jye Mullane to add depth to your halves do you?

    Signing of the season

    Not Michael Witt? ;-)

    Signing of the season

I'm going to go out on a limb and nominate Glenn Morrison as my candidate to finish the season as "signing of the year". He's been very impressive for the Cowboys and if he stays healthy he'll finally get his blues jumper and the devotion of eels fans. Hindmarsh and Morrison will prove to be...

Vella Happy To Remain An Eel

Gee I bet you're all soooooooooooooo relieved about that. Where would you be without him? The softest prop to play Origin football IMO.

    Another good article from filthy_spammers

Phil Bailey (SOO player), Michale Sullivan, Matt Orford. He had some years with some very good cattle and took the side backwards. Putting Sharp and Smith together is a risky proposition, given the predeliction both of them seem to have for cutting future stars. ;-)

they are. All the blokes are poofs concerned with hair care products and manicures. ;-)

    Another good article from filthy_spammers

I believe that the team Sharp inherited was not a bad one. He didn't seem to do much with a forward pack that contained the likes of O'Meley, Stringer, Toovey, Menzies, Kosef and Muir. Not that Smith would have done either. ;-)

    BK and Moanly

Cliffy, I couldn't agree with you more on those points and with respect to those people. And I think I'm repeatedly on record saying as such. Where I am critical is of areas where it seems to me the performance hasn't matched the exacting standards set by the people above. Is it wrong to...

Good article. At least his are appreciated. ;-) However, putting Peter Sharp and professional in the same place must have taken some doing.
