    WWE SuperThread II *Spoilers*

Man, I loved Hunter on commentary. So much fun.

Super Thread LXXV: Remembering forgotten memories

He's blamed everybody who isn't American by calling it "the foreign disease", like every disease doesn't have to originate somewhere. Meanwhile, Canada and Mexico are looking to close their borders to prevent Americans from bringing more coronavirus into the country.

    WWE SuperThread II *Spoilers*

Undoubtedly. It's surprising they haven't already made the call, given far bigger businesses have bitten the bullet and done the right thing already.

Super Thread LXXV: Remembering forgotten memories

The irony of the US banning people from multiple countries from entering in order to prevent the spread of "the foreign disease" and then having one of their citizens be the one to spread it to Kenya...

Super Thread LXXV: Remembering forgotten memories

Reports in that Kenya has just confirmed its first coronavirus case. It's going to tear through Africa like wildfire, I fear. East Africa is essentially a bunch of corrupt governments incapable of managing a chook raffle. With the exception of Rwanda, it's going to get messy if it gets out of...

    2020 R1 Thu - Eels 8-2 Bulldogs @ Bankwest

I'm just paraphrasing her comments. Apparently, him having a mustache and a beer were some kind of fall back to the bad old days of the 1980s.

Super Thread LXXV: Remembering forgotten memories

Coronavirus isn't the most dangerous disease out there by a country mile, but the rapidity with which it is spreading and its high complication rate means that it is (and will continue to) placing a lot of pressure on healthcare systems that aren't set up to deal with a massive influx of sick...

    2020 R1 Thu - Eels 8-2 Bulldogs @ Bankwest

Facial hair is indicative of everything that is wrong with modern rugby league. Won't somebody please think of the children?

Some dizzy tart who purports to be a senior journalist at Channel Ten is up in arms over it on Twitter.

    The Travel Thread

Friends here in Tbilisi were due to fly to the UK today. They just made a gameday call to not take their flight and come back, as they don't want to get stranded there.

    2020 R1 Thu - Eels 8-2 Bulldogs @ Bankwest

The game has been a bit of a dog's abortion from a quality standpoint, but I've been loving the intensity and the desperation. Good to have the footy back.

What Movies Have You Seen III

Rewatched Fellowship of the Ring the other day. Still holds up, and even moreso with a recent reread of the books and plenty of time spent immersed in Lord of the Rings Online. Watching The Two Towers in bursts at the moment. Loving that soundtrack, as well as the sweeping New Zealand vistas...

    League Unlimited's Favourite Movie

Hard disagree. Combined, they're arguably my favourite 'film' of all time. In the middle of what must be my 10th or 11th series rewatch now, but Netflix doesn't have the extended cuts :(

People you want to punch in the face

Michaela Cash, preferably midway through her giving Scott Cam a verbal blowjob in her insufferable bogan accent.

What are you eating right now?

Had a halfway decent ramen for dinner tonight, but the highlight of my day was finding an awesome fusion Mexican place that did tacos with an Asian/Caucasian twist. Their pork tacos with mango salsa were the bomb.

    In Memoriam

Dude had an iconic voice. I was a big fan of him in Shutter Island.

What is the most common food/drink you have never even tried??

Kinkhali > pork buns. In fact, xiaolongbao > pork buns, jiaozi > pork buns, and mandu > pork buns.

I reckon the only people making mad money out of this are the pharmaceutical companies (eventually), rice growers, and - inexplicably - toilet paper manufacturers. I reckon we'll see a lot of streaming services post good numbers if things keep getting worse.

    Fallout 76

I reckon I'll redownload this when Wastelanders comes out. The biggest issue for me at launch was how dead and lifeless the world felt (ironic, given the setting). It'll be good to have NPCs to interact with.
