    If they are never activated then they cost the club nothing. Meanwhile the player lost whatever cash he agreed to forfeit in exchange for accepting the PO. It's an insurance policy sold by the club to the player. Plenty of businesses rip merkins off by selling them insurance.

    Not yet but potentially. He's pretty good, and just had a breakout season. He went better than Utoikamanu ever has, and he's only a year older. If he can consistently play like he did this year he might be worth $700k.
