    OT: Current Affairs and Politics

If he wants some of Ukraine’s territory he needs to concede something he didn’t have before the invasion.

    OT: Current Affairs and Politics

With the rapid increase in effective ballistic missile ranges, the entirety of Ukraine doesn't represent much significant strategic depth these days.

You might not have to pay the cost of defending Ukraine, but defending Taiwan could certainly impact the value of your assets, including your home. Are you willing to pay it or do you think it will be absorbed by Johnny taxpayer?

    OT: Current Affairs and Politics

The CCP is pretty certain we will blink first regarding Taiwan as well. I personally think they're right. The West has no appetite for the kind of losses we might incur if we really put our foot down in Ukraine or Taiwan.

Freeing Kuwait required a US invasion, which Iraq had no counter for. Meanwhile Russia has plenty up its sleeve to keep rivals out of Ukraine. They have already threatened nuclear retaliation. Apples and oranges.

    OT: Current Affairs and Politics

Crimea has been Russian ever since it was inhabited by a majority of ethnic Russians. Horse trading during the Soviet era made it notionally Ukrainian. I think Ukraine needs to cut its losses and consolidate wherever the majority of people identify as Ukrainian. Fix the borders, join NATO and...

I only saw evidence of violence by one side, and an attempt to blame the victims.

WTF are you on about? We're talking about the US. In Australia, woke vs the economy still isn't the issue, and so it hasn't really been easy (or necessary) to split the parties. The LNP isn't yet the party of the working class the way the Republican party is. You need to do better with your...

That's right. May will need to be paid in the top 17 and we already have at least six middles on that much: Paulo Ofahengaue Hopgood Matterson Lane Williams How many high priced middle forwards does a club need ffs

Playing 6 in reserve grade didn't stop Arthur's picking him in first grade afterwards. He played three NRL games while Arthur was coach, after his first reserve grade game in the halves. A player's position in reserve grade is pretty much irrelevant.

Melbourne signed Brett Finch and pushed Inglis to centre. It’s not because they thought Finch was a better five-eighth. It’s just about balance.

I’ve told you before. Dylan Brown played centre because we only had three outside backs available. The following merkins were all unavailable: Blake Niukore Opacic Sivo Russell We were so undermanned we also played Hayze Perham on the wing.

Maybe they’re looking at Vaughan as an experienced backup? Merkins put shit on our club for having backups over the age of 21 but history shows young forwards tend to struggle with the physical side of the game. Front rowers mature later than other positions.

    Rumours and Stuff

Mozer does seem to have much higher potential than Brailey and would probably cost more due to demand. Meanwhile he still might not be as good as Brailey (when fit) in 2025 at least, due to lack of experience and physical maturity. But he is 21 next year so if his ceiling is Origin class or...

    Rumours and Stuff

He is 25 ffs Hands is a utility while Arthur is a specialist dummy half. In reserve grade they literally just stick merkins wherever they fit. If Brad Arthur was favouring his son over Hands he would’ve picked him in the NRL side, not reserve grade.
