    NRL Brand value rankings

Warriors bought what was the Holy Hop bar in Kingsland (Now renamed Full Time). Outside of that, I don't believe they own any other assets yet, though they are looking at buying another two hospitality venues. I wonder if the ownership structure of the Warriors (the fact they are a subsidiary...

    2025 NRL Jerseys, Sponsorship, Logos

It might be an optical illusion, but it looks like the space given to sternum sponsors has grown. Not sure why DEICORP use the secondary version of their logo on the sleeves. Would look so much better if they used this version.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Some strong movement in Auckland over the past few weeks, with pretty much the lower level of the East, West & North stands now sold out (or down to single seats). Upper bays in the East & West stands are selling reasonably well, though the corner bays on both sides haven't gone on sale yet...

    The Game 2025 Membership

Looks like all clubs will eventually have it: https://help.kayosports.com.au/s/article/12-months-of-Kayo-One-with-NRL-Digital-Membership

    The Game 2025 Membership

Pretty much a Kayo subscription. Still considering a base Kayo subscription is $300, getting it for $240 is a solid discount.

    The Game 2025 Membership

Just saw this on X. I imagine this will really help drive up non-ticketed memberships for 2025.

Latest IMG proposals for Super League

I'll be honest, I'm not happy with all those who made it and who missed out, though I will say this, the IMG scoring has achieved what it intended to do, and that was to getting a lot of clubs to invest in more than just avoiding relegation. Leigh, Castleford, Hull KR, Wakefield, London, among...

    Pacific Championships 2024

COVID (among a few other things) did change the focus, but Pacifique Treize is still around. Pacifique Treize has been holding an expanded training programme (from U10s to Seniors) in New Caledonia and there is still plans for a regional representative tournament in Noumea later this year...

    England v Samoa 2024 series

I was unfortunately way off for Wigan. There is clearly a lot more rows being held back. https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/england-versus-samoa-attendance-latest-with-likely-wigan-crowd-revealed Currently at 12K, aiming for 15K+

    England v Samoa 2024 series

Pretty much all seats at Leeds have been bought now (last count I had, I could find 18 scattered around the ground). Hopefully the terraces are also selling strongly. Wigan's The Brick Community Stadium, looks like it still has some rows held back on the west side and was just selling into...

    NRL & ESL sister clubs

Sounds similarish to what Manly & Castleford announced earlier in the year: https://www.seaeagles.com.au/news/2024/08/19/sea-eagles-form-exciting-partnership-with-castleford-tigers/ Will be interesting to see if it works or fizzes out like the Warriors & Wigan relationship and Rabbitohs & Leeds.

    2025 NRL Jerseys, Sponsorship, Logos

RL Jerseys on Instagram did this earlier in the year which shows the deals. Supposedly Broncos officials were in Japan last week signing a contract extension with Asics, so that's them sorted. I've seen a few people say Bulldogs are meant to be going to O'Neils next year, but that would mean...

2024 TV and Streaming Ratings Discussion

It's a purposely vague metric designed by broadcasters to help them sell ads & partnerships (which of course sports piggyback off to also sell their own sponsorships). It allows their sales teams to sell stories like "your brand could be seen by X million people each week" and "despite all the...

2024 TV and Streaming Ratings Discussion

VOZ, which is what TotalTV get their figures from, defines it as the "average number of people viewing in any minute across the program" So based upon that, a viewer could technically affect the average positively by watching just for a minute, though reality is majority of the average audience...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Isn't that better from an RL perspective? Miles wants to upgrade Suncorp & QAS, versus the LNP's plan which is just 'not what Labor is doing'.

    2024 Crowd Watch

A great crowd in Fiji and an improvement on what the Pacific Bowl drew for the opening game last year. Hopefully Fiji can draw a comparable crowd next week for their clash against the Cook Islands. 2023: PNG v CI - 7,133 Fiji v CI - 7,001 PNG v Fiji - 14,546 Final - 14,809

    2024 Crowd Watch

Grandstand sales are looking ok, even with the two edge bays being taken off sale. We should beat 3K, I think we'll get to 5K after some of the promotions they've done this week. Will hopefully look ok on TV with fans usually congregating on the concrete concourse. Weather looks amazing.

2024 Jerseys, Sponsorship, Logos discussion etc

Mate Ma'a Tonga was the name given to the national team by the TNRL and what the team used up until mid-2018. After the issues with the TNRL governance, the IRL took over the running of the Tongan national team and they were called Tonga Invitational or Kuo To'a A new local governing body...
