    You'd play this down the road at Parramatta while Penrith is being rebuilt. If our home ground is available,we play our home games there, except for the one at Bathurst.

    Parra used to get 28,000 at the old (mid '80s) stadium when it was new. It dwindled down soon enough.

    You would hope that the 18 is a player from a side that has the bye that round. That was really poor the way Api had to stand down last year just to get splinters in his arse (and lose skin elsewehere as well it seems).

    So we're behind the Manly sides of 95-96, bang in the middle of the Super League war (which I would suggest was very relevant in outcomes of the time), and the Storm sides that cheated the cap. Discarding the cheating Storm sides, to get a remotely accurate picture you have to compare points...

    Taumalolo and Feldt out. They're a tremendous young side with an oustanding coach, they've been flogging some well placed teams, but this will be a wake up call for the Cows I feel.

    It's about covering every position on the field to an adequate standard. Unfortunately it means we give away an advantage to sides who can do that with one utility, like the Roosters.

    The Roosters coach got one thing right. They didn't need to be 18-0 down at half time, they needed it to be 6-0 or 6-all. The reason it was 18-0 was because his side could not stand up to the pressure that was put on them, and once they folded, they folded big, as very often happens. Came back...

    They were the best team in the game for two years in 18-19, and I suppose the fact it didn't last forever is a bit of a shock to some. I just hope when our turn comes to drop down that we can handle ourselves a little better.
