    Pacific Championships 2024

    Just bring back the 4Nations already. Australia, NZ, England and a regional qualifier. There's European exposure, the Pacific Championships can be played every year still. Theres still room for 'bowl' tournaments involving nations that aren't playing in the 4Nations. Honestly, it just worked.

    The issue with that is is that the 4Nations was owned by the ARLC, NZRL, and RFL. There's no way that any of them are going to fund a tournament where their team don't directly participate.     I'd love there to be conferences, but there's no point for it in the NRL yet. It would be fine for the purposes of the draw, but that's it. So long as the season is long enough that each team can play each other at least once, conferences should have no bearing on finals.
