    Yep. I said Penrith are obliged to recompense any difference in two contracts and they probably did but IMO, and under the circumstances, I don't think they would have had to though. IC maybe liable to Wt for the cost to find his replacement. That I would see fair and reasonable.

    This is almost correct. Penrith are obliged to recompense any difference in two contracts. So if IC was being paid 700k and the reports Penrith have paid 400k then the Tigers are paying massive overs! Bennett is on $1m apparently. No way Madge is worth more than that imo.

    I admire the way Tigers fans are hanging onto the “we were wronged” tag when their club is doing the same to the Broncos. Difference being the Panthers haven’t offered contracts inside his current tenure.

    I’m not pissed off at all. It is a complete plan. A succession plan. Re: halfbacks in our junior ranks- there will be a 5/8 spot soon and probably hooker too, but we’re used to losing good juniors unfortunately.

    I see your point. To me that was protecting himself from mis quoting. I can see why you would want him denying it at every opportunity but sometimes silence speaks volumes.
