Absolutely. Can't believe anyone ever saw the ant man as captain material.

Would heart this if LU hadn't denied me the privilege. Absolutely spot on, especially re Critta.

Great to see Penrith from Temu out of the competition. Maybe they should buy a few more superstars to get to the next level.

Mahoney in the losers column is always a good time. Well done Manly.

If DCE makes a meal of that it's called back.

    Round 25 v Canberra

Nothing can shut down the discussion here. It's relentless. Like our defence.

Yeah idm Cronk. Beats listening to Corey Parker.

    Round 25 v Canberra

"Trust the process" isn't an attempt to shut down discussion, it's a counterpoint to "that was putrid" within the discussion. Anyway let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. We can gloat about how well the coaching staff have timed their run on October 7th.

    Round 25 v Canberra

At the time I'd have said the "keeping our powder dry" stuff was hard copium. Now it's just the obvious answer.

    2024 FW1 Fri - Penrith 30-10 Sydney @ BlueBet

We've been getting ahead of lesser teams then strangling them out of the game regularly the past 5 years. The idea we need "more firepower" to win a premiership is laughable.

Penrith v Bondi Battlers (Finals Week One)

They were all slow, they were barely set by play 3. They had been bashed. Watson deserves credit for actually getting to the kick. On another night, against another team, it would have been a game defining play instead of a footnote.

Penrith v Bondi Battlers (Finals Week One)

Yeah it was great. I liked seeing how long it took for the Roosters to get into position. Took them probably 2 plays which we gobbled up. Says a lot about what it must be like to play against us. They were utterly pummelled at that point and they moved like it.

Penrith v Bondi Battlers (Finals Week One)

That pass was forward, were just conditioned to expect it to be let go because they let close ones go all the time. The only really poor (non) call we got was the Turuva trip. Pretty easy to build a narrative about #adversity when you only look at one side of it. Dom Young also dropped the ball...

Penrith v Bondi Battlers (Finals Week One)

A part of me really wanted to see us put the foot down in the second half, but that's never really been our style. We were always in control and we expended exactly enough energy in order to ensure it stayed that way. You get nothing more for putting a match like that to the sword than you do...

Garner has been really good. Him going off was a genuinely scary moment.

Haven't watched many Penrith games this year huh? We do tend to play like this when it matters though.

NEVER! Seriously though, he's frothing and I love it.

Exceptional half of footy. To go from the last month of garbage to a textbook half with zero errors(?) is incredibly encouraging. Nath looking ominous but everyone digging in. Just need to close it out now.
