    It is a lower level comp and his salary in the Super League is a unique situation due to the team he joined and the exposure he could bring them.     A large % of our biggest rules changes are midseason changes. Of course this is something that needed to be done on the fly, what a dumb post. How often do teams pull out of competition in Rugby League around the world? There was no other time this decision could be made.

    It is not a similar market though because his contract in the Super League wasn't subject to a Salary Cap, you can not compare the two.

    Why should a club have to add the value of a player for a time he wasn't at the club? What utter nonsense! If someone plays half a season then the team gets half a season of value. You really have no idea how the salary cap works, this example will blow your mind, do you realise there are many...

    He is not worth anywhere near as much to the Roosters as he is to the Wolfpack in terms publicity, they were entering the Super League for the 1st time and wanted legitimacy so tried to buy it with SBW.
